Very good agency. Two days at Tsavo West (Taita Hills - Saltlick Lodge). Organization was perfect. Very good driver and guide (Michael). Good price.Don’t be afraid of the beach boys who propose Marco’s safaris.
Marco came to our rental house in Galu after we phoned him and organised a boat trip to the Diani Baobab Sandbank for snorkelling. I believe his prices were fair and reasonable vs the competition and rated against what similar trips would cost elsewhere along the Kenya coast. His attention to detail was great, and he handed us over to a boat captain he works with for the trip itself. If you need it, he'll collect you in his vehicle. Snorkelling itself left a little to be desired, the coral garden is in bad condition, but it was nice to get out in the water none the less.
What started out to be a 1/2 day trip turned into a full day, not what we had planned. We had planned to spend 1/2 day on a trip to Funzi Island and were told we would have the boat to ourselves - 4 adults and 2 children. This did not happen. When we arrived to the boat launch, 2 additional adults were placed in the boat along with us, blocking our view out of the front of the boat. We then proceeded to do exactly what they wanted to do all day. The trip cost approximately 20,000 KSH and Marco Polo only offered to refund us 1,500 KSH + some wooden trinkets. I would not recommend his services.
We booked a 2 days air safari to the Masai Mara National Park with Marco Polo Safaris. We were picked up in our hotel absolutely on time, and taken to the Ukunda air strip. Thanks to Mombasa Air, after a 2.5 hours journey, we landed at the Mara North air strip. We stayed at the Royal Mara Camp, wich is one of the best place in the Mara. We saw a lot of animals (elephant, crocodile, hippo, giraffe...etc), excluding the rhino. So nothing bad to say about the company, everything went absolutely well! But the most important: they gave us the best price in Kenya!! Thank you!
Grat Safari! It was well organized 3 days safari game drive from Marco Polo.Driver picked us up from the hotel and we went to Tsavo East National Park. Our driver Michael was very nice and experienced. We stayed in Sentrim Tsavo Lodge in the middle of the Park.Next day after game drive and Lunch we moved to West part. We stayed in a wonderful place - Salt Lick. I wish we stayed longer there. Animals, beautiful landscape...Unforgetable experience :) On day 3 after game drive and breakfast we made our long way to Diani.Thank you guys :)

Marco Polo Safaris is a local travel agency. We chose it online before going to Kenya, we collected from several offers, but Marco Polo was the fastest and gives us the best price compared to other agencies. We agreed to a meeting at the gate of the hotel and subsequently Marco drove us to his office, where we solved the details and paid for trips. Proceedings were pleasant, fast and professional. His people were always punctual, helpful and friendly and tried to be maximally accommodate to us. The price includes no hidden additional charges. Everything worked to a high standard, according to the agreement, without any complications. Highly recommended Marco Polo Safaris! My wife and my childrens(6 and 4yrs) love it!Tsavo East - Our guide Mike (I highly recommend him ) is a great guy, great driver (it is not easy to drive a car in Kenya) He show us the center of Mombasa and most cared about our comfort and safety. He told us about the animals and the environment, life and nature in Kenya . On safari he was an excellent tracker, showing us quantity of wild animals (lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, jackals, antelopes, timpaly, hippos, monkeys .... We had for our family big Land Cruiser just for us, with plenty of water (free of charge) during the whole trip. During the night we stayed at Voi Wildlife Lodge - a beautiful hotel with great food. Morning game has its own charm, followed by a delicious lunch (included). Wasini - very beautiful boat trip with snorkelling, we saw quantity of dolphins and spectacular underwater world, followed by a wild ride in big waves to the village where we had a delicious lunch. We reviewed the local village and gifted local children.Funzi - very private and authentic experience, the whole trip we did not see any white people :-))) Boat trip in the mangrove river (we saw a crocodile), beautiful moments on a deserted sandy island (quantity shells, starfish, ...) , visit beautiful and clean fishing villages, local school, excellent lunch (lobsters, crabs, fish, rice with coconut sauce, fruits ...). We met our guide family, they are very helpful and friendly people. If I can recommend (as well as Marco said), Funzi trip is the best!
We have spent 3 days in a safaris Tsavo East + Amboselli with Marco Polo Safari. This has been an oustanding experience. Wonderful wild life and excellent tented camps (Tarhi Camp and Kibo Safari Camp), mainly in front of the Kilimanjaro. for the people staying at the Chale Island Sands Hotel and this safari we strongly recommend to book this safari at Marco Polo Safari.
We spend the two days in Masai Mara with Marco. Fly fro Diani Beach. Everything was great. I can recommend this company.
