It's a great, free attraction. There is a small petting zoo/farm area that the kids always enjoy. You can feed the animals or just watch them. Fun! The view is beautiful.
Beautiful location. Very touching to see the names of all the MA veterans who lost their lives in Vietnam. The letters written home were heartbreaking to read.
playground needs to be updated not a plave for children younger then 4. Equipment way to big for little ones
If you like family fun where you can walk in trail, have fishing, sit down to tree shadow and have BQ, then you don't want to miss that. You have a good view on the Gold course, and there is an area for Veteran's memorials...Last but not least that have petting zoo for free and kids play zone!
I stayed at Green Hill at a friend's place for over a week. The neighbourhood is clean, guys all friendly and households helpful . I recommend anyone to check out homes in Green Hill Park.
they had a cute little zoo that was being renovated. the park was clean. we even ventured on a little nature walk near the veterans memorial.
I brought my 4 year old and 1 year old daughters to Green Hill Park to visit the farm and play on the playground. We arrived at the park around 10:00 AM and parked at one of the closest spots near the playground. We visited the farm, played on the playground and in the field. When we left at about 11:30 to head over to the Ecotarium, another vehicle was pulling out of a parking spot. I waited for the car to pass before backing out of my spot. The driver of this vehicle drove by suspiciously slow and continued to drive extremely slow as I followed him up Green Hill Parkway making my way to Route 9. When we reached the military area on Skyline Drive, he pulled over allowing me to pass and then started following me. While stopped and waiting for an opening in traffic at the intersection at Route 9, he was making sexual gestures with his hand and mouth when I looked in the rear view mirror. He followed me East down Route 9 and at the intersection at Plantation Street I stopped at a red traffic light and waited to turn right. When I looked in my rearview mirror he was still making lewd gestures. At a road construction area on Plantation Street, I stopped to tell a police detail that this guy was following me and making lewd gestures. I knew the detail wasn’t going to be able to help out without eye witnessing this sick person’s behavior, but was just hoping that this would deter the man from following me. Finally when I made the left turn on Harrington, he went straight. I have never experienced anything like this and I am appalled that this could occur in a public park none the less next to a child’s playground. Because of this, I will never visit a Worcester Park again and would advise you to never visit Green Hill Park with their children.
This place could be fantastic. Lots of land. Beautiful hills. Adjacent golf course. Ball fields. Skateboard park. But it is in horrible condition. The skateboard park and play round are a hazard and are generally unkempt as well. Very gross. We also had a woman ask us to watch her baby's diaper bag, then she walked to her car and started smoking some sort of rocks from a glass pipe... so then there's that. The hiking trails had so many used condoms that it seemed almost deliberate. Shame on the city for letting this happen to what could be a great place.
The playground is not suited to children under the age of 4.the petting zoo has been closed every day that I have gone this summer, but that's where we usually go,it's nice.
Everyone, all ages, should visit the Vietnam Memorial at Green Hill Park. Moving, peaceful, sad, touching - a beautiful memorial.
