Another interesting location of historical significance. Not only is this a perfect place to watch the sun set, as many do, it is also a place to see the shipwreck of a concrete ship sticking out of the water. The name of the ship and its history are well explained on a sign. This is worth reading. The beach is also covered in ocean quartz stones or Cape May Diamonds.
Compared to the others, such as Ocean City MD and other Northeastern beaches. This belongs in top 15 beaches of USA.
A relaxing, clean beach with lifeguards. The sand is soft and well maintained and the town is well worth the visit: very good restaurants, historic B&B's, lighthouse, a wide variety of activities and the best part is boardwalk is NOT filled with rides, bars, and stands. It's unique.
Best beaches around. Soft sand miles of beaches. Many places to eat, and drink. Only negative is needing beach passes for many of the areas.
It was cold and I'm sure it's a nice beach but my time was limited in walking there. I walked mostly in neighborhoods. It rained too.
Beaches are great! Clean and spacious. We went on the shoulder season (Sept) when the water was still warm. Love the area.
Best beaches for family. Lots of attentive lifeguards, no deep drop offs and plenty of gorgeous sand.
NJ beaches are the best no matter where you go. Cape May is no different. Beaches are clean, and the lots of room for when there is a crowd, and have lifegaurds during the summer months.
Even tho it was freezing we had a great walk on the beautiful beach. Dressing warmly helped, but we could have been warmer!
We had never been to cape may. What a wonderful surprise! Clean family oriented beautiful beach. The people are so nice. We will be back this coming summer!
