They have books but don't expect much help finding what you're looking for. I requested a book purchase in April and by 31 May I haven't received any news regarding it. Really? Statistically speaking, they can't all be the worst, can they?
Oue newish library is lovely. It offers so so much for youth ! The chiDress floor allows talking and the have fn discovering a Library
Great place to relax or attend a program. There are kids, adults and group programs on a variety of topics. There is also a cafe for food or coffee. The best library in Wyoming I've seen.
The selection is better than I expected. Love the book sale room. Really love the café. The staff are generally pleasant.
We've lived in quite a few places/states and this Library has been more than a Library - it's a destination. The events they provide (FOR FREE) are incredible, the staff is very helpful and nice, the selection of books and media are wonderful. I don't know If everyone really understands that this level of quality just doesn't exist in most places - we moved from Wash D.C. and the libraries there were good, but not as great as this one! Go and enjoy - and appreciate this benefit!
Such a great places, with great people working here. The kids had a fabulous time as did I. The little cafe was a great place for a snack for the kids and a coffee for me. We will definitely be back!
The library is very close to the State Capital building. It's a modern, state of the art building - with a cafe on the first floor. The best part of this library is the attention paid to consumers' desires. Details such as art displays, a vast number of computers throughout, separate "lounge" areas for children and teens, and allowing food to be brought in make it a unique place. It also has a large book sale section. A $1.00 day pass enables non-residents to use computers and other library facilities. It even has a nice view of the Capital.
It's amazing to find a library of this size and quality in such a relatively small city. This modern, three-story library offers lots of books, lots of services, an area of historic books about Wyoming, and down on the ground floor there's a pleasant cafe. I especially like the wall of quotations on the outside of the building on the parking lot side, and the statue there. Great place.
What a modern building for a historical city. Claimed to be one of the 10 best libraries in the country when first opened, this public library is made up of 3 floors. Easy to navigate around both in and outside this building was a nice touch on such a small community.
This is a really big library and has so much to see in addition to a great selection of books and media items. I am from out of town, but I took my nephews and niece here one day to kill some time and they had a blast playing in the big open education room and looking at books in the great kids area. It's a really comfortable place and it had ample free parking as well. I hope that the locals appreciate this great resource. If I lived close, I definitely would!
