Right across from the Charlotte Knights Ballpark this is a great greenspace. Two levels to the park with the lower level including a fountain.Easy access to restaurants, attractions and places to stay.
Went there for an outdoor concert and food festival; was not disappointed. Well kept and clean and right in the heart of everything going on in Charlotte. Plenty of parking nearby, good feeling of safety with CMPD visible on the outskirts; great place for singles, couples and families alike.
This park is the size of a Charlotte city block. During the weekdays when it is warm there is often live music. The park has many places to sit and enjoy a picnic or just walk around and enjoy Charlotte.
Nice place near the center of town but really there's not much here. Good place to hold rallies and demonstrations I guess.
This isn't a big park but it has a nice open space right in the heart of downtown and superb views of the skyline. The fountain, especially, at night is beautiful with lights of the city behind it. Very well lit and safe and it is right across the street from BB&T field. There is a lot of street parking nearby but there are a few parking garages too which was nice. There were plenty of people out while I was there which was nice to see people taking advantage of it. It was so nice I had the pleasure of being asked to take pictures of a couple who got engaged there. I would for sure visit this park again.
This is a nice little park to sit in during a lunch, but it is not at all worth making a special trip for. I walk through it at least twice a day for work and it is very well manicured. The nice thing is that they do have gerat little events and concerts there, one even that had a dozen or so bounch houses for kids. For those evens you just need to keep an eye on their calendar, but for the regular park it is not worth a special visit.
Great to walk around, nice scenery, lots of places to sit and chat .. Lots of nice plants, flowers and sculptures. Found this just walking the area ...great place for a picnic or to rest after a long sightseeing journey. In a great area of a great city.
Nice little park tucked away near the ballpark and stadium. A fun & colorful water feature and the most excellent views of the skyline can be seen from here!
Romare Bearden Park is a wonderful little oasis in Uptown Charlotte. It's a great place for a picnic or to go listen to music.
I've watched this park get built from my office window. It's such an interesting place and you see all kinds of people using it in so many different ways. We went to one of the free concerts there and it was just such a perfect setting; great for the soul!
