My toddler grandson loves the water display, the ball cage, and grocery store . The areas allow for imagination and parental guided interactions with a happy group of child participants. Highly recommend an afternoon visit... A good time will be had by all!
We only went into the Duke Energy Children's museum, but all 3 of my kids had a great time! We have twin 4 year olds and a 9 month old and there was something new and fun at every corner. My girls got to run off some energy in The Woods exhibit (one of them is still talking about the super fast slide!), do a fizzy art project, learn about children around the world, and help build a house. We will definitely go back next time we are in the area, and hope to try the Natural History museum next time, too!
This is one of the best museum I have ever been too! Actually we have been a couple of times. There are a lot of things to do and see . All ages can find something fun to see and do. We will definitely go back again
If coming to Cincinnati OR you want to be a visitor in your own city, this has to be visited. People come from all over the world to view the architecture alone and the building itself COULD not be constructed today for less than $1 billion dollars. It's a family heaven with so much to see and do for kids of all ages, even the adult kids. If you like movies or experiences, go out of your way to watch the special IMAX theater they have here, it's amazing. Just make sure to give yourself almost the entire day to enjoy every little bit of it, you will not be sorry. And remember, this was all designed, at least inspiration, from the Hall of Justice.
We had a great experience and everybody was really helpful and informative! I will def. go back!! Love the museums and the train station!
There are three museum. I don't have little ones, so I didn't go to the children's museum. The other museums were very cool.
This historical building has THREE museums, and an Omni Max Theater! You can pay for one or all. The Children's Museum is AMAZING! Many Cincinnati family's get yearly passes!!
Love the Museum Center. There are 3 different museums to visit and and IMAX. Took a tour of the terminal also that was really interesting. Worth the drive from Dayton.
My wife and I enjoy bringing our kids to the museum and enjoying all that it has to offer. So many things to see and do. Every time we look at the train display we see something we missed from before. The history of the terminal and the museum have long been a landmark going back to WWII. My Grandfather told me about how he went through the terminal to leave to his tour of duty. I had the opportunity to show that area of the museum to my 2 sons, so the military history in the museum will always have a special place in my heart. The Museum of Natural History & Science always keeps my kids interested with the fossils and history of dinosaurs. The Cave is a must see!
I really enjoyed the Cincinnati History museum. The displays were great, though many of the interactive devices were not functioning.I learned a lot about the history of the area and will go back again.
