We went on the recommendation of someone we met on the trolly. We went on a Monday afternoon, almost everything was closed, Had a drink and snack at a nice pub, walked around a bit, but not much to tell.
I have always loved this area, because it is nice place to take friends for the day for drinks and lunch and a bit of sight seeing. There are several places to eat, a few bars and shops as well. A couple places to stop to see during your day are The Krohn Conservatory and the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Both are nice part of the history of the area and well known. Be sure to also walk around the neighborhood to see several types of architecture from traditional to modern.
Went there on Sunday afternoon. Wrong day, no restaurant was open but the Bow Tie cafe was open so hop in and had a small sandwich and big bowl of latte (it was served in soup bowl). Mt Adams is very safe to walk around, nice historic houses, a few lookouts to the river which possibly have better view at night. It has good atmosphere being quiet and peaceful area (not sure about night time). it takes approximately 30 minutes to walk around the whole area.
I enjoy every visit to Mount Adams. There are wonderful and varied restaurants, green space, art and entertainment...and views.
A very "colorful spot" to view downtown Cincinnati! Lots of variety of food, drink, and music spots to make anyone smile! Enjoy an evening there walking from spot to spot!
Food good, but the view of the city and ambiance of the surrounding are what you would want to go there for. Mt Adams has a lot of history dating back to the trolley cars that people would ride from the bottom to the top of the Mt. Adams incline.
I like travelling and visiting new places, and Mt. Adams is one of those places that I visit. Although the weather little bit cold outside, but we can find a place to park our car and to walk around in the neighborhood see the scene that is fantastic. My family and I enjoy very much this place, and we highly recommend for those visiting Cincinnati – Ohio or Northern Kentucky to list Mt.Adams as one of the places to visit.
Every one goes to Mt. Adams for the views. But what if you have kids and it's late at night? Most places are bars. We found an excellent view in front of the church in Mt. Adams at night with a spectacular view over the city. Very inspiring and magical--despite the cold weather in February!
This is about 4 blocks of Bars, clubs and food! Had a nice evening at the Blind Lemon and several other bars until about midnight when the college kids came out so we left.
Mthe view is incredible. But the adress here is not the actual view spot. Spend some time finding the spot it's totally mind blowing view
