Took 3 children under 6 yrs old and two adults. Cost was around $50. Kids were pretty bored with the maze which has high wooden side walls and have to climb tower in order to find way out so only spent 20 minutes in there. There were other kids firing water pistols so we got wet. Kids had more fun in Jumpy Castle and Logs in park area although logs a bit high for this age group. Nice food and coffee at reasonable prices and puzzles on the tables for different age groups. Toilets just outside cafe and clean. Plenty of parking etc. One complaint however...... Rows and rows of toys on display for sale so kids kept going over and pulling them off shelves and wanted parents to buy them, another money making enterprise, so we went back to car with sulking kids. Please if you want to sell toys PUT THEM OUT OF REACH or provide supervision. In my opinion the toys for sale were deliberately placed so kids could grab them and coerce parents to buy.
I visited with my two sons aged 9 and 7 and they loved this place. The maze is great fun and with water pistols that are available at the start it made for a really fun time. Outside of the maze there is lots of space plus plenty of games to just play at the tables either with the kids of whilst the kids are in the maze. All the staff we came across were very friendly and helpful making the atmosphere really relaxed.
This was a fantastic day out for all of our group ranging in age from 9 to 70.The maze is a challenge, and changes from week to week. If you go again, it is highly unlikely that yu will encounter the same maze as before. It is fiendishly tricky, but so much fun at the same time.... find your way to each of the outer four turrets, then to the centre turret. You even get water guns to ambush your enemies along the way - we went on a very hot day, so this just added to the enjoyment and created a mini war between all of us !! Hilarious fun, mind bogglingly fun.... great value and a beautiful drive through some of the most picturesque scenery - what more could you ask?
I stopped in here as it was the only place open for coffee at the time and I desperately needed one. Didn't go much further than the cafeteria, the whole place reminded me of sticky hands. The maze did look cool but due to the rain I didn't check it out.
Brilliant spot to come, fantastic playground, BBQ, awesome views, grassy areas, parking a bit difficult at times, toilet block always clean, colour of beach water is stunning, good spot for little kids, steps to the beach with hand rails for elderly, great snorkeling, reef surf breaks, nice walking beach, little shop for chips, drinks etc only 10 K from Coles in Dunsbourough if you want to buy stuff for a picnic, bring a fold out chair and brolly for shade, caravan park across the road, love this place but so do many others....its busy
After reading the other reviews regarding kids under 6 we only made the trip for lunch, so the kids would be kept occupied for a little while (ages 21 months, 5 & 6). Quick, efficient & friendly service. Good value food which was tasty too. We didn't need to keep the kids busy for long as our food arrived quite rapidly. After we had eaten the kids enjoyed the wooden play area and then the bouncy castle.
Fantastic and extremely friendly people, great spot for kids, very tasty food, kids loved it....all of it for very reasonable price!!!!Agata
Had a great time with hubby and the kids 4 and 20mths. You can access the shaded play equipment, the nature play area and enjoy games and puzzles without paying the entry fee, great if you have young kids. Can play on the bouncy castle for a gold coin donation. Great help from the staff who bring around age appropriate games/puzzles for the kids and adults. We also paid for the maze, a bit old for the young kids (free for under 5's) although Mr 4 had a great time shooting Dad with the water pistols. The maze is challenging enough for older kids/adults, we had a great time navigating around and the bigger kids were having a ball.
We greatly enjoyed our time here, I highly recommend the ice coffee and carrot cake. This is also some children's play equipment which is not shown on the website photos which our 2 year old loved. They also have a huge range of toys and board games! Not the cheapest, but a very impressive selection.
W called into the Yallingup Maze to check it out and a couple of my teenagers wanted to give it a go. This maze has a bit of a twist by giving water blasters to each child and also 3D glasses to see the clues. It was a hot day so my kids had great fun navigating the maze and shooting water over each other and others in the maze. While we waited for our intrepid travellers to return the staff came around and offered us mind twister and puzzles to do. I personally love these things so I was surprise how quickly the time went and out kids had returned. The Maze also has a cafe but I found the prices a little high. Good fun for kids 5-50.
