I was finally able to visit the City Creek to find out that tearing down the old mall had been worth it. The layout is spacious and interesting. Lots of nice shops.
Downtown canyon with hiking, biking, and picnicking. Open year round! Picnic tables available as well as restrooms. A running creek too! Beware of bike schedules in the summer (odd dates for bikes, even dates for cars, all days for walkers).
Go to City Creek Canyon right at the fall color change. A walk through Memory Grove will leave an indelible impression, like so many melting crayons. Strange analogy, I know.. :) The creek, bridges, monuments, trees, all beautiful.
We all enjoyed walking through this canyon. It was right in the heart of the city, but it felt rural. Plan to spend a couple of hours.
this is just one quick turn out of downtown, burbling creek, shaded hikes in the lower canyon energetic runners and bikers up top. A haven
this is a nice high end shopping center. They have it all there.Next to the temple as well so for day time or evening time shopping it is well done for the Christmas season. The walk thru this mall was nice for being in Salt Lake City for a few days. Parties will enjoy the atmosphere here.
Don't miss this place!! The shopping is great but the views are phenomenal!! It was a mix of outdoors and shopping!!!
Feels safe, easy to plot a run of a variety of lengths. You can't beat the scenery. It is so convenient to downtown, there's no excuse not to fit in a run before your day at the convention center or at attractions.
Great architecture and great store. The atmosphere is nice, especially because of the fountains and the river all around the mall.
OK, its a glorified fashion mall. too cold to visit the shops outside. really need an interior entrance to see the best shops.
