We visited Sun in January and although I knew it would be brilliant, I had no idea HOW brilliant it would be. One of the highlights of my trip to Memphis by far.The guide we had was really friendly, funny and informative and really bought the tour to life. There is a small cafe where you can wait before the tour and I would highly recommend the milkshakes!I have some pictures from my trip on my blog http://www.emmieleey.com/2015/01/walking-in-memphis.html.The gift shop is fabulous and I went a little bit overboard with my spending but it was definitely worth it.
这里真是参观的好地方,到处都极具历史感。可以重返过去,回忆有史以来那些最伟大的歌手们。虽然建筑本身不大,可是提供的却完全弥补了一切。
We enjoyed the museum and really liked hearing a little of actual recordings captured of Elvis and others in the recording studio.
没什么可看的,而且匆匆忙忙的。这里比Civil Rights museum票价要贵,而且全程也就30分钟吧,没什么感觉,除非你是非常喜欢和了解早期的摇滚和蓝调音乐,你才会喜欢这里的。
We visited Graceland today, and the crowning touch was being bused over to Sun Studio for the tour. What a blast! Had a tear in one eye from the sights and sounds (original recordings) of the beginnings of Rock and Roll, and a tear in the other from laughing at the comedy routine of Lahna, our tour guide. Thanks for the fabulous look into yesteryear!!
Do the Studio tour it is well worth the price and request for "NINA" to be your tour guide as she brings a lot of positive energy and enthusiasm to the tour and is local Memphis girl who loves music and really know her stuff!
Great atmosphere. Great history. Worth a visit. Not just for Elvis fans and is still in use today. The guide was very knowledgeable and told us lots about the history of the studio.
我到访了孟菲斯,于是来了这里!真是梦开始的地方啊,我就站在百万美元音乐开始被创造出来的地方,任何音乐迷都不要错过啊!
This is a small museum packed with tons of music history. Our guide, Jason, was amazing. He took us on a trip through the history of rock 'n roll, playing clips of music throughout the journey. The studio has a nice little 50's style cafe where you can sip on a soda and browse souvenirs while waiting for your tour.
Loved the tour, and the idea that we were right where so many great musicians had recorded! Everyone got a chance to hold an original old microphone and pretend to be a star!
