A perfect place to get an adrenalin rush safely. With a wide choices of attractions for kids to adults, from mild to wide, from fun to really crazy. This is a world glass place at its best you can enjoy year round.
My kids spend the day here while my husband and I get to shop. They love it here and we go back every time we are in Edmonton
Located in the West Edmonton Mall and open all year long with plenty of rides for all age groups. I enjoyed the Mindbender, Solar Flare, and Space Shot. A bit too pricy for the duration of the rides though
Great variety of rides and things to do for all ages seems like every time I go there it is different...just enough. This time they had moved something over into it from near the waterpark.Very fun.
We went to galaxyland on Friday afternoon. Some of the arcade games ate our coins. The prizes for the tickets weren't very interesting. The advanced rides were fun. If you aren't sure, but just want a couple rides, buy tickets instead of a pass. A couple hours is all you really need to enjoy this indoor park.
Not sure why this has been advertised as the largest because it sure isn't. I found it to be small and way too many kiddie rides. Hardcore thrillseekers will be disappointed. The only ride for coaster nuts is the mighty Mindbender. The others are too small and tame. The swinging pendulum ride looks like it belongs in someones back yard, its so tiny! Mindbender is the only ride worthy of a visit. One of the best and most intense triple loop coasters in the world. And that's no hype!!
The family pass is great for a family of four and allows you access to a day of rides with the kids. There are quite a few rides available including a small oval race track that the kids absolutely loved. It was very busy due to time of year but all of the rides were open and the line ups were quick. The food court nearby allows time for a quick lunch. There are a couple of areas that require additional fees (climbing wall, playland area for small children, haunted house). We enjoyed our day and everyone was completely tuckered out by the end of the day.
Galaxyland has been around for a long time in one form or another. The place needs some updating as some of the rides are getting pretty worn. Staff are pleasant. Loading and unloading of some rides are really slow.
I took my two-year-old here and he was totally excited about it! There are little trains and rides for kids that age up until adults! There are many many people here, however. The noise is a little overwhelming, but I think it is a good idea for the little guys to check it out once in a while. I think there is a ride for everyone too.
Wow! all but one staff member smiled and waved at us ALL day. Train driver worked it until he got a high five from our grand daughter, went above and beyond to ensure a fun trip EVERY time and we went on train for hours :>) Our 4 yr old grandson did want to go on rollercoaster a shame that he wasn't tall enough for some and then when he was tall enough for the Dragon ride he couldn't go as he had to have another older child to ride with him (no grandmas allowed) Fun house attendant helped him get over fear and he loved the spooky room on second attempt.
