Hillrock Distillery is a farm to glass producer of fine whiskey. Their range of products includes bourbon, rye and single malt, all of them carefully distilled from organic grain grown by the producer. The result is smooth, flavorful whiskey that has much more personality than the larger commercial brands. The welcome is friendly and down home. The grounds are beautiful and the tour will teach you about the processes of malting, brewing and distillation. The best part is tasting the results. Well worth the $20 fee. And you can bring a bottle or two home for special occasions.
