We've been here many times and always have a good time. Great atmosphere and there's plenty of things to do. As far as the gambling I dunno if they're the loosest slots as advertised but we enjoy playing.
Over the last 3 years have visited this establishment 3-4 times per year. Also visited other casinos with about the same frequency, and much better outcomes. Have NOT won anything at Hoosier Park. Smokey and boring-easy to say "enough of this"!
I like gaming. I do not like table games that are electronic--give me cards, dice, ball. I also do not like the obvious stench of cigarette smoke. Not just smoking which is fine, but the place really, really smells of smoking--not well venitlated
I guess it will satisfy your gambling itch but if you are in Indianapolis the casino on the south east side I have heard is much better. I thought the electronic craps table was kind of cool with giant actual dice inside a glass dome. I thought it was super smokey and kind of depressing. Probably won't go back.
We always have a lot of fun at Hoosier Park. There is always something fun going on and the shuttle service to and from the local hotels can't be beat.
Great adventure is in store at Indiana Hoosier Park and Casino in Anderson, IN. There is a state of the art Casino, with live table dealers, soon to come. A sweet buffet plus other cafes, live racing, OTB, and a variety of live entertainment. All around this area are wonderful eating establishments, movie theaters, and shopping galore.
We had a great time from start to finish. They pick use up at the hotel with good timing little wait. Entertainment all night there was something going on all the time. The people that was working was very nice and helpful with all that was going on. We would going again.
Hoosier park is way too under staffed on New Years Eve. Waiting in line for a drink for 45 minutes was the norm. They kept running out of beer at the temporary bar stations they setup. The midget wrestling and cross dressing entertainment was boring. They did have a good band on the casino floor. The 2013 entertainment was much better. Hoosier park really needs to up their game and properly staff their bars if they want to have a successful celebration and keep us coming back.
We spent New Years Eve at Hoosier Park Anderson Indiana. The food was fantastic as wasour cassino host John Waxler. The Holiday Inn is very clean and the morning buffet wasoutstanding.
I am used to living in states that have live gaming! I don't want to sit in front of computer we have only been there're 2times both time for buffet dinner seafood night but not to gamble.
