We spent two days visiting wineries; and this was one of my favorites. The scenery was great, nice facilities and great service. Jake did an outstanding job assisting us with explaining the wines.
a very scenic place with very nice wine. A friendly staff and outdoor seating makes this a very attractive stop.
While we enjoyed all of the wineries we visited, this is the only one we bought bottles at. Both my husband & I felt that it stood out a bit more over the rest. The woman that did our tasting was friendly and made us feel very comfortable while we were there. We also got to talk to the wine maker a bit.
Noboleis was the second leg of our Augusta winery trip this July. I was really excited to try a winery I had not been to before. Their main building housed the wine tasting area and the purchase area. I was surprised that there was not a limit on the tastings so I tried nearly everything. Turns out the Steepleview Red was a big winner with our entire group! There was also a small restaurant with a limited menu. I really liked that when you place your order they gave you a number to put on your table and would deliver the food right to you. You could also bring in food (and possibly drinks) here, which is a plus. You couldn't ask for a better setting for a winery - the large tent is set up at the level of the main building, and then there are beautiful rolling hills below on all sides. There was entertainment, but it was sub-par (and really loud). Karaoke would have been an improvement!I would love to see Noboleis add some more food options and spruce up the place. They have a great venue and just need to show it off to its advantage!
We liked most wines sampled. Kind of a long line but we only waited 5-10 minutes. The line behind the 2 registers was longer. Overall we like this winery so we will go back. Allow enough time just in case they are busy. They are busy because they are very good.
We stopped during a recent two day wine trip in the area... Driving up to the winery was a little confusing as to where to park and go in...we enjoyed the wine tasting with a couple wines we liked very much... Our favorite being the ice wine!!!! AMAZING!!!!!! The down side was.... There is no pricing for the wines with the listing... We found out the price at the time of purchase. Kinda awkward to back out when she has the bottle bagged up and ready to go. ;( The ice wine is cheeper in cost than others I have heard of... But more than I would normally pay... That's just how I am...But!!!! The ice wine was amazing!!!!! So I feel it was worth the money. It would have been nice to know the price of the other wines and know the prices ahead of time. All in all it was a good experience!!
Stopped by Noboleis Vineyard on August 3rd. My wife says the charming little place just moved to the top of her favorite wineries in the Augusta area. The staff was friendly as we sampled the goods. We tasted a couple of wines that were fantastic. The place was clean and well staffed. We enjoyed our bottle of happiness under the covered outdoor patio while Gary played classic Jimmy Buffett music with his guitar for all of us happy patrons. We will order food on our next visit. Beautiful view of the vineyards from the patio.
We went on the14th A.M. and the guy at the store was so much fun and helpful even that early in the morining. We laughed & brought some very good wines too.
This winery is considered the "new kid" on the block. They did not disappoint. Great selection of wines to choose from, beautiful tasting room. The even have a fantastic chef. You can have private parties there and the chef will let you help him design the menu for your private event. Great place.
Great panoramic views of the hills of Missouri and the Noboleis vineyards. The service was great and so was the pizza, but best of all is their Semi-Sweet Red Wine- 'Broken Fence Red'. It has a full warm flavor with just the right amount of fruity sweetness.
