The best part of this casino is Katie's kitchen the food and prices are great . The rest of the casino is good ,not too smokey ,and a nice place . I have done very well at this place just not this time
We have visited several area casinos and one of our favorites is Angel of the Winds! We have actually had a higher percentage of winning at this location therefore, we've been (off and on) participants for 10 years. Also, while people watching (and while looking in the mirror at ourselves) we have observed a higher percentage of others, who didn't look downtrodden and broke (maybe there are more disciplined people at this casino… but, we'll never know). However, what we do know is the value and food at their Watershed Restaurant helps to satisfy us, by creating a more complete experience, a better, satisfying and relaxing mood. In addition, over the years, instead of eating at home, we've planned and have dined at the casino for Thanksgiving and Christmas (their food quality is that good; it's apparent to us, that they employ "Real Chef(s)" that can really cook)!
The casino is nice but it is hard to win big money. There are two parts for machines and you need to make sure you use correct tickets with the machines. Smoke is not too bad lately, but it's an issue if you don't smoke. Hotel is very nice and just opened in December.
Food is great. Katie's Café has great deals on "fast food". Also breakfast items. Winners often there. Friendly and welcoming. Hotel is brand new.
We had a wonderful time staying at the hotel. The furnishings and décor were beautiful and what stood out most to us was the wonderful textures and colors all throughout the hotel. The cardboard light fixtures were amazingly unique. The rooms were well sized. We loved the bed and all the bedding, it was so comfy! The closet size was awesome, you do not have to have any luggage out. I loved the shower, the rain feature was so cool, and that the shower head was high enough for tall people made the shower even better. All the employee's we met were very friendly and had helpful suggestions to make our stay even better. Make sure you get a rewards card as it gave us discounts for the buffet and the gas station.
Have been to this casino a few times, but finally got an opportunity to try the hotel through a recent promotion. What a pleasant surprise. Lobby was comfortable and welcoming with rich, native decor, which made me think the hotel used the same designers as the Tulalip. Check-in was quick and easy with friendly service from the staff. Had a great double queen room on the fifth floor - beds were nice and big, lots of space and seating, big bathroom with a convenient towel bar for a change by the sink, and shower was spacious with nice shower heads, but unfortunately not the best shower experience - not enough pressure it seemed. There's a safe in the closet and a Keurig machine with 4 k-cups provided (decaf and reg coffee), as well as bottled water. TV was a nice flat screen but the channels changed so slowly, which was a little annoying. Room was tastefully decorated with warm, dark colours, and the free wifi in the room worked great, unlike at the Tulalip.Casino is a good size - not too big (but still smoky) with lots of complimentary beverage stations around. Machines didn't seem to pay much, but that didn't surprise me - at least they let me play awhile without eating all my money at once.Part of our package included a fun book and "Tara" at the rewards desk was so friendly, not to mention 'giving' with all the goodies she gave us!Dinner off the menu was pretty good and good value, but make sure you make a reservation as we had to wait an hour even though it didn't look all that busy. Thankfully they give us a buzzer so we didn't have to stand in line and wait for a table to become free. Breakfast buffet was good too, and once again good value. Perfect amount of items to choose from, including a made-to-order omelette bar.Check-out was quick and easy and able to be done until noon, which was nice.Overall, this is a great casino hotel - a perfect alternative to the much larger (and louder) Tulalip, and more reasonably priced too with little perks. One thing that would make this property even better would be to add in an indoor pool and hot tub. Then this place would be just as competitive!
People are friendly and the food is fresh !! Always have fun here and know quite a few people employed there.
Nice place and good deal sign up for totem card and get better deals.not a big place but definitely worth staying gambling is good as well.
The hotel was open in Dec.The help are great and the rooms are great..I loved the huge shower and will stay again. It was a great anniversary get away. The beds were hard but not unbearable .The Breakfaast Buffet was real good.Got discount coupon when we checked out . the price was good.It would be nice to have a small fridge
This lunchtime is middle of the road, fair to good overall. I would avoid the lunch buffet in lieu of the dinner if possible, only a couple of bucks more and much better offerings.
