  We spent 2 hours on the dragonfly sailboat in the Chesapeake, but would have liked to done much more. Captain Dan is a very good sailor and made us comfortable on his boat. It was just my travel companion and myself on the boat, but he can take up to 4 comfortable. A very fast boat and I would recommend his boat for a nice afternoon outing.

  My friends and I had great time this week with Captain Dan on his Dragonfly. We tried other sailing tour before, however did not feel too much fun when with a large group of tourists. A small private group tour with a very experienced and friendly captain is so much better. This tour is tailored to our needs and requests. We had hands on experience with sailing, and that was so much fun. I would highly recommend his tour to my friends. We will certainly try this tour again in the future.

  Captain Dan and his Dragonfly sailboat made for a perfect Saturday afternoon in July on the Chesapeake! All-in-all, we could not have asked for a better trip for 3 hours less than an hour from Washington DC and Baltimore. Capt. Dan made it comfortable and fun. Best of all, it was just the three of us!My wife had never been on a sailboat, so I wanted to take her out for our 1st wedding anniversary. I saw lots of other sailing cruises, but none where we would have the boat and the crew to ourselves for a reasonable price. Captain Dan picked us up right on time. His boat is clean, well maintained, and can reach a pretty good speed (for a sailboat) if you want him to make it happen. He was very attentive, professional, and informative. We met him at the Deep Creek Restaurant where he picked us up and he spent a few minutes giving us the safety briefing before we left.We took a 3 hour tour of the river and the Chesapeake Bay just North of the Annapolis Bay Bridge. Capt. Dan offered bottles of cold water and he gave us pointers on what was going on. He allows people to bring snacks and a few drinks. He let us steer the boat for most of the trip. Can't wait to go again!
