Beautiful sunsets, best seaside drive with live oaks, gorgeous white sandy beach, calm waters, amazing views of boats going out to sea for the night, great boardwalk to jog on. Would love to see more lighting near the piers and parts near the water.
Although the tide was out and the water was cold, folks were still enjoying walking along the beach, building sand castles, playing ball, flying a kite, having a picnic or just relaxing.
Hurricane Katrina is still very present as you stroll on this pretty white beach. Almost all of the shops on the beach side of the road were washed out, only a few replaced. This has opened up the beach. However, there is still a lot of unrepaired damage on the far side of the street which is kind of creepy. But the views are gorgeous, there is lots of parking, great bars for grilled oysters and contemplating the sunset
I grew up one block from the Biloxi beach. In my mid 60s it's still a pleasure to go "back home". Biloxi has one of the prettiest beaches in the country. Not much surf but beautiful sand beaches.
Very nice to look at, but the water is not clean and fresh looking. Even the locals have said they don't go in the water. It is still, it doesn't have waves to clean the debris or something. If you want to walk along the shore or lay in the sun it would be great!! There are some folks who go in the water but I wouldn't. Along some areas they rent big water bikes, etc.
The sands here are crystal white and beautifully kept. The water is a striking aqua blue. There are parks and services set up for sitting, walking, picnicking, and even bonfires, and several boardwalks and fishing piers. Lovely and serene. And opposite the beaches are fun local businesses including some high end resorts, and even a casino. Worth a visit for sure!
I love that Biloxi has free parking along Beach Blvd. The beach wasn't over crowded and I had beautiful views each night I was there.
The beach here is beautiful white sand, but very shallow, no shells, very little wave action, broad ebb tidal basin, not really a swimming beach as much as a splashing or walking beach. But there is lots of it...miles and miles to walk or ride bikes. Very relaxing.
Great beach. Volleyball net set up, barn fire location, jogging/bike trail in most areas. Weather was surprisingly great. Kids really enjoyed.
Love going to Biloxi beach every chance I get. While there we go to Sharkheads. They have tons of shells and other things, but they have the BEST fudge ever!
