We just returned from a fabulous overnight experience at the Firekeepers Hotel & Casino & we LOVE this casino!! So many slots to choose from and large variety of penny, nickels, quarter, & dollar slots so something for anyone budget!! The staff had always been friendly and we love the number of free beverage stations at the casino! We have a casino about 7 minutes from my home, but I will happily travel the 2 hours to gamble at this one!! We didn't win big, but we won enough to keep us coming back for more!! This was not my first time at a casino and I have gambled all over the country and this is one is one of my favorites!! So go and have fun!!
Nice casino. It can a bit smoky as the night went on. The non-smoking slots are in a small secluded area. Wish it was larger and had more variety.
I have gambled in many places, but this place is the tightest casino when it comes to comps. They need to get their act together. This is even more true since they charge $4 for a draught beer. On top of that I do agree that the have some very tight machines. On a sunday morning around 8 am their tables were set at $10 min on all tables. They do have some really great employees.
They removed the best part of the casino when they built the hotel, which was the nightclub Cabaret, albeit small, but right off the escalators. We had so much fun there and my bachelorette party was even there. Always had a blast. The non smoking area is ridiculously far away and what's the point if you have to walk they a maze of smokers to get there? They took out a lot of the multi game machines too, which is a huge disappointment.
we stopped in on the way home from Chicago. Very clean/nice/fresh. Won money which is rare. Only thing I wish is that they would realize that $5 for a beer is CRAZY. Why not charge a lot lower price and make it a deal, instead of a ripoff? I would have a lot more fun if I could get a bargain on something
Been going every weekend spending big money never win they never give any red hot points for all the money spent there Gun Lakes at least they give free plays every week stay away from firekeepers they take but not give back
Stayed for 5 days with my husband and 2 kids (aged 4 and ). I stay at hotels for my job frequently, I gave my overall stay a mediocre review. I expected better info on what the hotel has to offer. I wanted a massage, I'm still not sure if they have them. Kids can only eat in the lobby restaurant because of the gaming machines. The towels and robes are so stiff from overbleaching. There are no kids shows/channels on their TVs. The beds seem short. My feet hit the end and I'm 5'5. On the up side, the pool is great! Its very pretty and only 3.5 feet deep with fun water features. The staff is very friendly. They have free wifi. Conveniently located. Very spacious bathrooms. In room fridge (not listed on the website). In summary, I imagine most people looking to stay here won't bring their kids. If so, the hotel is a good choice.
Relatively new casino located just east of Battle Creek. The facility is clean and has a modern decor that is sleek and attractive. Although smoking is allowed, there is not even the hint of cigarette smell present. The machines are modern and well cared for. The sounds are not overwhelming or bothersome and you can easily have a reasonable drink at the bar and carry on a conversation. The only criticism I have is that the bathrooms need a little more care as they were below the standard of cleanliness compared to the rest of the casino.
You have to be a member of their gambling club (free membership) to take advantage of the buffet, but it is well worth it.
Visited this casino for the first time about a month after it opened. We visited this weekend and I will not go back. The smell of stail cigarette as soon as u hit the door was overpowering.in the slots areas there were full ashtrays and empty drink glasses everywhere. Not to be over critical the place was just filty and not well kept.I have been to other casinos in michigan and to me this was the dirtiest. We only go gambling about once a year so as far as payouts and comps I would not be a good judge. We go just for the fun and atmoshpere and fire keepers does not fit the bill for us .
