A scenic place not far away from the City of North Vancouver with beautiful environment. Absolutely a great place to spend half a day or more with family or friends. People did swim in summer. Parking is definitely a problem though there are lots of parking spaces. Be early or prepared to drive around to look for a space. Shops and restaurants are available but you can also triy the BBQ stoves as well.
Cute little town at the cove on Indian Arm. Not a very sophisticated place, but endearing with a main street slanted downhill to the cove, lots of restaurants and shops, a nice park and kajak launch at the harbor space. A good place to while away a few hours, drinking in the beautiful setting, particularly under a deep blue sky which renders the cove deep blue as well. We came here today for a stroll and to show the place to visitors from Europe - and they loved it just as we do. Parking can be a problem on a busy sunny weekend day. My actual preferred rating would be 3.5-good rather than just average, but not really very good.
I hate to even give this a review because I live here and it is a hidden gem! i don't really want it getting any busier than it already is. Deep Cove is a peaceful and serene community with unbelievable beauty all around you. great hiking, biking and paddling, and amazing parks and trails to find those special secret views of the mountains and ocean.Great restaurants and Great Service (Arms reach Bistro), and of course , the one of a kind Honey's Donuts!A must visit.
Nice huge lawn area to have a picnic on if you like. Gorgeous views of the ocean. The beach area has washrooms. Right next to Deep Cove Yacht Club. If someone is looking to spend a leisurely day off in Deep Cove, you will probably have a great time.
Visiting Deep Cove Village is a treat, albeit small but quaint. It is also a good spot to launch kayaks and paddle in Indian Arm, either day tripping or overnight. Kayak rentals are available. Wonderful spot to drive to, add it in to a Seymour Mountain trip for a full day trip- Sea & Sky. Quirky coffee shops and restaurants and even a few artists galleries.
Hiking, Kayaking, BBQsLots to do for all types of travellers and locals. Has a cute small town feel to it. Only 30 mins from downtown Vancouver
I always enjoy showing out of town guests this beautiful place. To hike or simply walk in the park and taking the sceneries. Breathtaking. The cove, the Burnaby Mountain as its backdrop and yachts form such a beautiful picture.Love going to shops for ice cream or coffee. Though, I usually go during weekdays to avoid the crowd.
This place is no more special other places in and around Vancouver. Add to that that there is almost no parking available, the shops are way overpriced, there are so many other better options. I much more prefer Ambleside and Lighthouse park in West Vancouver, or many other places. Way more enjoyable!!!
Been here twice (2013 & 2014), but the feel and atmosphere I can feel it until today, love the area, and there is this one place that sell doughnuts and it was amazing (Must try). The scenery is always gorgeous, it has a view of lake/sea and surrounded with mountains. I give this place 5-rating as it always give me the best holiday memories.Cheers,MT
I love Deep Cove. I have just participated recently in the Penguin Plunge on New Years Day. It was so much fun. I also enjoy going to Deep Cove to hike, swim, relax and enjoy the scenery and water front. It is like being on holidays without having to go away. You can rent kayaks and canoes and tour around the cove. It is breath taking. There are also a lot of good restaurants to grab a bit to eat. I have always felt welcome and part of a community when I visit Deep Cove.
