My wife and I have visited just about all of the Native American galleries in New England and have found that if you want an experience that rivals the shops and galleries in the Southwest, this is the only place to go. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the work that they sell. They travel to the Southwest to hand pick/purchase the jewelry they carry and can provide great stories and insight into the pieces they sell as they have developed friendships with many of the artists and over the years.The Silver Buffalo also hosts some of the artists they buy from, putting on shows with them throughout the year. This is a very rare chance for someone to get to meet the artists and learn about their crafts and cultures.The Silver Buffalo is a wonderful place to shop for Native American arts and jewelry. Make sure to set aside enough time to stay awhile and don't be suprised if your visit turns into an afternoon of learning and making new friends.

I have visited the Silver Buffalo Gallery many times. They have beautiful pieces in their gallery and run wonderful shows/events for many Native American artists. We have had custom work done by some of the artists as well as picked up vintage pieces. All beautiful work and priced within reason. I have come to know Joe the owner and and Elizabeth who know everything about everything! I have high regard for their expertise and integrity. If you can't get to the Southwest, come here to Berlin, Ma for a visit to this gallery. Watch for their artist shows so you can meet the person(s) making the beautiful work you will be buying.

I've been here several times and there is a dedicated following. If you're looking for a taste of the southwest this is the place to be. Jewelry, hats, paintings, it has it all and its attached to the owners house. Great place to browse, very tranquil.
