Seeing the beautiful mountainside and valley below on the back of a horse is nothing short of incredible! Beaver Creek Stables not only provided calm trained horses but the staff was second to none! The views during our ride in early summer was spectacular! Loved every minute of it! Our family loved the ride and can't wait to go again! Thanks to our wonderful guide that made it so personal!
Super ride around and up the mountain. We started at about 8,200 feet altitude and climbed quite a bit higher on a narrow incredibly scenic trail winding through aspen forests, sighting a large buck, loving the outstanding mountain scenery and terrific views of Beaver Creek Village. The staff and trail guide were very knowledgeable and friendly. Calm and cooperative horses also helped a lot. The $90 per person cost of the two hour ride was well worth it, would do it again if we go back.
My wife and son took a one-hour horseback ride through the mountains and aspen trees. They said they wished it had been a two-hour ride. The loved it and would do it again in a heartbeat. Also, there are complimentary pony rides for the little kids. Great business!
Beaver Creek Stables was a top notch experience. Kaitlyn was our guide for the day and not only was she super fun, but also very knowledgeable about the horses and the area! It was a beautiful ride and I hope to see my horse, Preacher, again someday. He was outstanding to ride and also had quite a personality! (for a horse...)
We went on a two hour trail ride and had a wonderful time. Our guide, Jessie, was very warm and friendly. We would definitely return.
Nice staff, nice horses, outstanding views. If you are not very familiar riding a horse is very nice but if not it could be a little bit boring because the horses go very but very slow going around a circle so what you saw on your left half and hour later you see it on your right.
We enjoy Colorado in the summer the best and I like the horses. Beaver Creek has one of the best rides up into the woods to a scenic view
This is my third summer to Beavercreek. We love it up here during the Fourth of July week. Perfect weather, and everything is so green and beautiful. Horseback riding is by far my favorite way to experience it, now that I have. Our guide Emily was all smiles, sincerely friendly, helpful, and even educational. She snapped a nice photo of our family too.We travel a lot, so very few things make us pause and say "wow, this is really beautiful." But you just can't help it, when you ride through a grove of aspen trees, into a Grassy-meadow, along the mountain ridge with views of the Gore range on your left, and Beavercreek on your right... You just keep saying, "wow!"
What a great experience! The horses were wonderful, our guide was professional, courteous, and helpful. The views along the trail were amazing. This is on the "repeat" list for our next visit.
It was by far the best horse back riding experience we ve had so far and we ve done plenty every where we travel.great people ,great horses, amazing views, and a real good time .chasing long horns cattle was a lot of fun!!!
