It's small, but it is laid out very well; it is in the downtown area, and is very busy...but if you're used to bigger ball parks, this is OK for following local sports teams.
We spend a lot of time at ball parks throughout the midwest, and Dehler has to be the nicest. Great seats, shaded areas and walking path if you get restless during a game.
I have been to Dehler Park for Mustang Baseball games and running events. It serves both venues well. The games are always reasonable and the food vendors won't disappoint with beer and hot dogs! The space is spacious enough to hold large crowds with ease. If you are looking for a good seat in the cheap seats COME EARLY"
The ball field is beautiful with great seating and great prices. We paid $5 per person and were sitting in the front row along 3rd base. The bull pen pitchers warmed up right in front of us. The players easily interact with the fans. We went to two games this year and in both games players gave a baseball to my 9 year old daughter. The park is right in town so parking is a problem however we parked in the Perkins Restaurant parking lot, and paid a $10 fee which was actually a $10 coupon to Perkins so we got to park for free and got $10 off our breakfast at Perkins the next morning. Definitely planning to return next summer.
We attended the American Legion state championships and were in awe at this beautiful ball park! The field and scoreclock was outstanding and the seats were super!
The park is so nice and has a great atmosphere! Whether it be date night or family night, it's a great place to be!
This a awesome family outing. Great fun for everyone. A play area for the younger kids. This is a fun park for baseball games. Come see the Mustangs play.
Beautiful setting and great inspiring bronze statues. the rimrock backdrop is classic west! love they way it is sunken into the ground.
There is not one negative thing to say about Dehler Park. It is a top notch facility. Very affordable from the tickets ($4) to the food ($5) for a kids meal deal. Extra activities for kids to do. There is no bad seats, its clean, plenty of restrooms and lot's of friendly staff.Just be careful of foul balls, especially with children, as there is nothing in the way of nets to protect you with the exception of behind home plate. No better way to spend a summer night in Billings.
My family loves a great game of baseball and Dehler Park delivers. The best part of the experience is the inexpensive price for general seating, and if you check the Billings Mustangs website, they offer special promotions regularly for reserved seating and giveaways. The park is built so that crowds can walk around the entire field. The game is a great place for a cheap date and even the concessions are not too outrageous. Save your soda cup and bring it back for a discounted refill next time.
