We had a great time picking strawberries, blueberries and raspberries with my three-year old goddaughter. The plants were just the right height for her. The playground and tea barn are perfect additions to spend the afternoon in a safe environment for children. The fruit and flowers were well priced. The staff were happy and helpful.
We visited with some other mum friends. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff. Good basic selection of food and cakes available. Great drinks selection. Pre picked fruit and veg if you can't drag the kids away from the play area. Plenty of seating. The play area has a fenced younger child area, an older child area, large sand pit and a couple of ride on's. Simple but kept her amused for hours. Definitely recommend
Great location, rural and very pretty. Excellent tea room and outside play area for younger children, teenager loved the food but too old to play. Fruit range and quality wonderful, we come every year and it is always a good afternoon out
we went for a visit to the farm and found it very well organised with the strawberries up high so no back breaking . plenty of nice ripe fruit and very nice tea room with plenty of drinks ,cakes etc . all in all a pleasant visit
The tea barn has delicious food. The fruit is plentiful and delicious. The place is very well organised. All good!
I love this pick your own fruit farm. It has good diversity all year round, and even if you don't want to trundle round picking your own, there are prepackaged fresh fruits and veg for you to purchase.
We had a fun morning and lunch at the Fruit Farm. We went with our daughter-in -law and our 2 year granddaughter. We picked corn, strawberries and raspberries. Easy picking in a fun environment. Had a tasty lunch and took our granddaughter to play in an out door area.
Our first time at Cammas Hall today. Easy to find. Lovely setting. We took out children aged 16months and 12 weeks. It is fine for pushchairs. Our 16 month old had a brilliant time running riot and on the play area after. Very reasonably priced too.
Was on random trip in Hertfordshire, after we had lunch at Hatfield Broad Oak (Dukes Head), we found some signs stating strawberry picking - its very well signposted. Very friendly staff and plenty of parking. The quality was amazing - better than what you get in the supermarket. There were 8 rows of strawberry runs which could picked at chest height. Will be definitely coming back when the raspberries, blueberries and cherries come into season - August.Prices for strawberries £4.40 per kg / £1.97 per lb (June 2013)Because of the poor weather this year in the UK I would say the fruit is behind by at least month.
What a lovely way to spend a couple of hours with the children. Staff were so accommodating and helpful and it was such a pleasure to see kids enjoy themselves in a real outdoor fun loving way. The girls even won a prize for finding the 'biggest' strawberry!!very reasonably priced, lovely produce and well maintained environment.
