Nice caves, not too big, not too small. The guide was very entertaining, gave us a lot of interesting facts but he seemed a bit, well, bored with the caves after his 10.000th visit... You have to climb a lot of stairs to descend in the caves, so less suited for older people...
Huge cave with beautiful stalactites. Not expensive. Just a ten kilometres from Poreč-Parenzo. A nice way to spend a day outside of Poreč touristic area. Definetely worth the visit.
Enjoyed the guided tour of this beautiful cave. Steep climb with 200 steps may be hard for some, but there are handrails the whole way. Great visit.
It was amazing to look inside the caves and the information given is in English as well as other languages. Well worth a visit.
we cycled here from porec town and turned out to be a great day out,6 pounds each to get in but very interesting and good value for money, the tour guide was good and quite funny which made it interesting
Excellent tour guide, great outing on a cloudy day. Plan your time as group departures vary according to language preference. Beware many stairs coming back up from the cave! Great food and drink available and souvenirs. Delicious fresh fruit sold at the peach trees.
It was great.. small cave nothing like the Postojna Cave if you what to see the real thing:-).. Still it is a great place to visit. There is an old tractor story museum great for the guys.. small souvenir shop where you can also buy carrots for the donkey Stipe when I was there for the first time. Last time when I visited the place there were 2 donkeys... always friendly atmosphere.. There is also a place where you can eat or if you like you can make your own picnic on the green field old country style.. Right next to the this location is a plantation of peaches and if you are lucky there will be someone there so you can buy some. ! Enjoy..
Don't miss to visit Baredine Cave..... Baredine Cave is the first speleological site in Istria adapted for tourists, and has been attracting visitors since 1995. Don't miss Baredine Cave and Tractors Story & Konobon Gallery during your holiday in Istria – it's open for visitors from April till October.
What nature can do is just amazing and “jama Baredine” proves it. For less than 10 euros you will see truly amazing cave and get free guided tour. I doubt you will regret seeing this. If you forget about other tourists around you, you will feel like in Tolkien’s world.
Beautiful place, a geomorphological monument of nature, only 8 km from Porec, duration of visit is around 45 mins. An interesting museum of tractors and agriculture nearby - Traktor Story.
