My family and I were looking for somewhere new to make memories and we stumbled on the water park and decided to give it a try. We loved being able to see exactly what we were going to be out and love the different areas of play. The park is clean, fun, safe, and a great price. Was worth the hr drive in my opinion. We spent the entire day there. For our family of 5 ( 2 adults 2 kids between 6-12 and on child 5) we only spent $30 to get in and $17 on food. We will be back and have already spread the word. Oh and the staff WONDERFUL! Was really nice to be able to let my oldest who is 12 rome around with her friend she knew where she could find us and always checked it. GREAT PARK ! Thanks for the fun in the summer sun !
Great to brings the kids to during the summer. Pricing isn't really that bad. It has slides, a kiddie playground as well as pool that starts at zero depth. Prices for food are a little high-ish, but it's expected at these places. They sometimes do luaus and other parties during the summer, which kids love. Great family location, but also very crowded as it's very popular.
My son has a great time and it is worth it with a season pass . One thing to remember Saturday is very crowded so get there early .Low prices on concessions and I notice they take breaks more when there are more people there compared to slower days
Very nice pools for both experienced swimmers and little kids; water is rather cool in June, so consider going after Kentucky's had a few hot days to warm the water up! The half-price after 4 p.m. admission price is a nice offering.
With two water slides, a kiddie area, and a diving board... this place is really all you need to sit back, relax, and tan or swim. Its only $6 to get in and you can stay all day. They even have a concessions area so, you never really have to leave! The staff is friendly and you can always find a beach chair to lay out in.
PROS: Good for all ages, extensive grassy area and places to sit, very nice staff, good price, very alert life guardsCONS: Not enough shadeDETAILS: Visiting Mammoth Caves, the kids needed a break from the hot temperatures. We were pleasantly surprised by a facility that was well kept, a very nice staff, a variety of activities from babies through adults. We liked it enough to make a 2nd unplanned visit the next day before we left.
We went to lost river cave and wanted to do something else, but not spend a lot of money. I would call this a cross between a local pool and a water park. Low entrance price and very very cheap food prices. I wouldn't make a trip just for this, but my kids ages 12 and 7 loved it!!
This is a great laid back place to spend a day with your family or friends, young or old. There are 2 huge pools. One pool is geared more towards little kids being more shallow. It also has various splash and spray features. 2 water slides are available. The other pool ranges from 4ft. to 4'10 for most of it. A deeper part is roped off for the diving. Floats are allowed. Free lawn chairs (you don't have to rent them) are everywhere and huge shade umbrellas are all around. The changing /bathroom area leaves a lot to be desired (small and lack of privacy. The ladders to get in/out of pool a bit difficult to use -seemed like stainless steel cut outs in wall of pool. Quite slick. Concessions are available but nominal and rather pricey. Rules say no outside food or drink but I saw lots of people with outside drinks. Lifeguards are well staffed and attentive. AED was prominently placed which as a health care worker I appreciate.
Places like this always raise my blood pressure since I have two kids to watch that are too young to be self sufficient in water since they haven't had swim lessons yet. It went very well because there are attentive life guards all around. Even though it was very crowded there wasn't much of any rough housing and big kids being in the younger kid area that caused me concern. FYI The changing area could have been much better if an employee would squeegee the floor once in a while. Explaining to little kids how to put on their underwear and shorts without having them touch the floor and get soaked in gross gross foot water was almost impossible here.
This place is fantastic and a great value. The water slides are awesome. It is designed beautifully and is great for all ages. They could use some more restrooms, or changing areas. I found I had to wait a long time sometimes due to people changing. The lounge chairs are situated very close, but they do not mind you moving them out onto the grass for more room. I can't wait to go play there again.
