Wonderful gardens with amazing coastal views. You do not have to be a gardener to appreciate these gardens. We went in Sept and the gardens we so quiet and peaceful. Top tip would be to take a packed lunch and eat in in the courtyard entrance. Tables are provided and vending machines. As it is outside you can leave your lunch in car until you are ready to eat . There is no restaurant on site only vending machines. The coastal path is also worth doing as it takes you down to a small secluded sandy beach. Only accessible by foot.I am planning a return visit in the spring as they must be worth a visit any time of year.
A great thing to do whilst in the area. Very pretty gardens. In the summer there are outdoor concerts with big names such as Elton John, Sting and Tom Jones, being a few who have played in the past ....... Bookings must be made in advance!
What a delightful find.Tucked away at the end of the coast road lies this absolute gem. Obviously the flaura changes with the seasons but in September the display of cactus and varigated leaf plants was magnificent. The views from the lower terraces were also worth the effort of exploration. At three euros a very low cost way of seeing a wide selection of trees and plants and enjoying a stroll too.
An absolute must see. Take a couple of hours and breathe in the place. The range of diversity of the various gardens within the Jardi, the views of the sea, the Mediterranean climate all make this a perfect spot.
We visited the gardens it was still beautiful but the rain got heavier much better in the sunshine- take an umbrella just in case. The reception lady gives them out but they only have a limited amount. There were some amazing plants, the views from the gardens are excellent.
I was really amazed about the beauty of this location, perhaps I was lucky there were not too many people when I visited the Jardins. The view from there is amazing yet to mention the variety of plants...
Visited the gardens on the last day the tourist bus was doing the trip, so were given a half price reduction on entrance ( 3 euros), but would happily have paid the full rate. Arrived early and seemed to have the place to ourselves. Everything was well laid out, well labelled and well signposted. The views from the gardens were fantastic and it was a real pleasure to wander round undisturbed. The lack of commercialism was a breath of fresh air.
Lovely gardens with spectacular views over the Mediterranean sea. There are numerous paths with viewpoints/miradors and separate garden areas such as the cacti garden. We visited on a cold afternoon in late November and had the garden to ourselves although there was a small gardening team working unobtrusively in the background. The lady at the desk was very friendly, spoke good English and was keen to explain the history behind the gardens and castle. Easy parking and toilets at the entrance and half-way around. Even in November the gardens were full of interest and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
Amazing views from the gardens. Loved the cactus area but found the signage throughout the garden a little confusing and got lost several times going round in circles.
The gardens and their outstanding views are not to be missed. We go most times we are in the area and each time find something different and new to be inspired by.
