Pinney's Beach gets high ratings routinely. The sand is lovely for a stroll and the water is calm, It lies in front of the Four Seasons Resort, and has several beach bars available for food and drinks (Sunshine's, Double Deuce, and Lime).. It is a short cab ride from Charleston.
Pinney's Beach is the only beach we visited, but it is a beautiful beach. Very clean, well kept. You have the Four Seasons nearby as well as several restaurants that are within walking distance.
Pinney's Beach is the public access beach, shared with the Four Seasons. Wide and clean, right in front of Double Deuces and Sunshines. Good snorkeling.
Perfect for a winter trip when you are from Chicago or any northern city. close to good beach restaurants
Could have used a few more lounge chairs and shaded areas but the beach was clean, the waves not too high and great for famlies with small children
This beach is very clean. It's a lovely place for a walk or a swim. The water is clear and warm. I loved watching the pelican's dive for fish all day long.
Loved watching the pelicans and gannets diving for fish - could have watched them all day. Sunshine bar well worth a visit for a Killer Bee - or just a beer!
Great to sunbathe, take in the Caribbean Seas views, watch sunset or sunrise. Outdoor toilets. Try a killer bee at Sunshines Bar & you will feel like a Caribbean especially with the tunes playing
The part of Pinney's we loved most was serviced by Sunshine's Bar and Grill who provided us our drinks, lounge chairs and umbrella's with ease and smiles. My wife soaked up the sun and I soaked up the underwater wildlife 10 feet out from shore. we also loved this spot for Lime's Bar and Grill, right next to Sunshine's, for dinner.
This is the best beach on the island . You must stay at the resort to enjoy the amenities and the staff will treat you like royalty
