There is some really great art in the garden with well known artists. This was a nice walk on a sunny day!
A great assortment of artists and craftsmen. Much larger than it appears from the outside. Beautifully displayed and arranged in groupings, whether glass, pottery, sculpture, or paintings.
This is a must see when in Chattanooga. Beautiful, unique art and in a great area in Arts bluff district. I was amazed that they had such a wonderful selection of different forms of art, from glass, clay, paintings, metal sculptures, etc.
This gallery is a must-see. I have been visiting it for years, and it always has a wide variety of high-quality art pieces, paintings, pottery, sculpture, jewelry, fabric, and more in a range of prices. The staff are friendly and helpful and treat you like royalty no matter what you spend. The Bluff View Art District itself is worth a walk, especially the gardens nearby.
My husband and I enjoyed this store immensely! We wandered from room to room in a vintage building, which used to be apartments. The rooms were made cheerful by an abundance of natural light and tasteful arrangements & displays of the art. There was a variety of artwork & paintings, which I loved. I settled upon a HUGE praying mantis sculpture for the yard. The staff made themselves available to us for questions, but didn't oppress us with clinging to us.
Lots of different pieces here, with room after room of selections. But everything is relatively expensive, and there's little fiber art and uninteresting jewelry.
You may think of aquariums & choo-choo's when you think of Chattanooga, but once you visit this amazing hidden gem, you will think of Icarus when you visit the city
Very diverse collection of artworks by artists in many different media. If you visit the Bluff View area, don't miss the River Gallery! It is as good as many museums.
This place has nice artwork; however, the gallery has a pretentious atmosphere. The art view bluff district has a cool vibe to it, but once you enter the gallery and they tell you to leave your coffee at the door (even though it has a lid) you just have to wonder. I've been in high-end galleries around the country and non have ever had a problem with a covered beverage container. The prices for the art they have is higher than the regional competition, I supposed that is because they take a higher percentage than other area galleries. Too bad it has to be that way, but it's their choice.
I had only recently heard of the art district and would have visited sooner. The River Gallery and sculpture garden was aesthetic, inspiring, and well worth a longer stay. The owner of the art gallery featured many works of all tastes and mediums. He spent much time telling me about the artists and their techniques, which I greatly enjoyed. The sculpture garden also in the Bluff View art area is so peaceful, with unique and imaginative pieces of art. Views of the river serves as a great back drop for walking through these gardens and district.
