Went for a ride in the late afternoon. Very close to the hotel. this was one of our stops. very impressive! amazing that people actually did live here.
un bellissima sorpresa il canyon de Chelly, lo consiglio a tutti, non è molto famoso, ma ha delle vedute fantastiche, il fondo coltivato testimonia la vita attuale della tribù Navajo che continua a viverci
The overlook of Mummy Cave did little to excite us other than the kids liked to story; of course they were disappointed in not actually seeing a mummy.
This was the best tour ever! Be sure to go in an enclosed vehicle...much safer on the rough terrain.
This is one of the easy sites do go. It is paved and safe. You can have a good look at the ruins, specially if the light is favorable.
This ruins was one of my favorites because the scenery near it was so amazing. We had our lunch here and took in the natural beauty and Ron, our guide, was so imformative.
Appears to be one of largest ruins in the area. Would have been nice to see up close.
Short hike to the overlook, but direct shot across the canyon from this lovely ruin. Canyon tours rarely get this far, would take at least 6-7 hours round trip, so best to take photos from above. Can't get close to it anyway at the bottom.
We had our lunch at the picnic tables in this area . We gained access on a full day jeep tour of the canyon by Antelope House Tours. We also saw hikers that we're guided in by Navajo guides.Remote scenic and peaceful
