For a town less than 15000 people this park is really nice. They have bears, lions, cheetahs, lots of birds and more. Nice petting area with goats, sheep and a few others. Picnic tables, shelters and play ground equipment is plentiful. Nice running/walking trails but no bikes or pets on trails. There is an upper park and lower park and no one usually uses the upper park so it is very quiet.
No matter how many times we visit Irvine Park, we are always amazed by the scenery, the animals, and the picnic areas. My favorite place is overlooking Glen Loch Dam.
What a great attraction for such a little city like Chippewa Falls. The play areas, the ponds and creek running through it, the zoo on two different levels (hills), and many miles of running/hiking/skiing trails are fantastic.
If you never been to Irvine Park go , especially with their display of lights! Also with this wonderful white snow the displays are even more breath taking! If you have been to Irvine Park at the HoildaY season you know how blessed we are to have this in our Chippewa Valley!
Brilliant light display, free of charge (donations are accepted at the park). The display gets bigger, brighter, better every year! A must see for all ages.
Irvine park is fully decorated in Christmas lights with Christmas music. So beautiful to drive through at night and the kids just loved it!
My kids (9 & 2) absolutely LOVE it here :) The play equipment and trails are great for children of all ages!! Also, you can walk your pets on the trails and roads as well. One of my favorite parks in the Chippewa Valley
Very nice small park. Good walking paths, benches to sit, picnic areas. The animal areas are very nice, good viewing areas. Park is very clean, well kept.
We love the hiking trails in the summer and ski trails in the winter. It is just such a nice place to visit, picnic and relax!
Stayed at a local hotel and they gave us the recommendation to check out the lights. We did and weren't disappointed!! Loved feeling the Christmas spirit!
