First visit to Chorley Little Theatre, very impressed.Went to see 'Little Shop Of Horrors', there were entertainers keeping people amused before the show started, the acting and show was on par with a professional production costing ten times as much. Fab night out !The drinks, snacks and ice cream are all reasonably priced, no rip offs here !Will definitely return...
I have been many times to plays performed there. I love the theatre and the fact that it is run by volunteers. The actors are so committed to producing good productions. The only down side is that they need to wear individual microphones at each production as some of us have hearing problems.I love this venue.
Staff so friendly, lovely small intimate theatre. Bar prices very reasonable too! Looking forward to future visits.
This theatre is great. Small and quaint with a lovely atmosphere and lovely volunteers who run it. We went to see a couple of comedians and had a great night. We will definitely be going again.
i hadnt been to this little theatre fer over 20 years and id totally forgotten how good it was. A lovely little place right next to the centre of Chorley and well worth a visit. we went to see the Ladykillers which was fantastic. a huge well done to the cast. it was very well acted and had me laughing out loud. and thats no mean feat i can tell you !!!!
Great shows and pantos year in, year out. The theatre also hosts films on occasion, a true asset to chorley.
This is a theatre of which Chorley residents should be very proud. They put on a wide variety of shows, to suit all tastes, often plays that are quite complex to stage. Their staging of the comedy version of The 39 steps, earlier this year, was superb. There is also an excellent Youth Theatre.
Fantastic little theatre, well equipped and run by volunteers. I've twice been to the youth theatre and the productions are fantastic. Proper bar that's not overpriced in the heart of town, why head to the city, it's all happening in Chorley.
I wish I had found out about this quaint, warm little theatre years ago !I visited this theatre recently and was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The event I attended had unreserved seating, so if people attending an event booked their tickets at different times, you could still all sit together. The venue was warm and well lit. There was a nice little bar area with half a dozen tables with 4 or 5 seats around them. There were also bar stools and a bar shelf right along the back of the bar area. The drinking vessels were plastic, but the advantage of that was that you could take your drinks with you into the auditorium. It was even possible to pre-order drinks for the interval to save yourself queueing needlessly. The theatre shows matinee films at a very reasonable £2.50 for those who work shifts, or who have free time during the day. All in all, it was a lovely experience visiting this theatre - such a warm, friendly, intimate atmosphere - I would fully recommend it to anyone.
The script is very funny, the acting is excellent, amazing sideways scenery, a great night out, free parking. Sweet trolley well stocked. Locally made Fredericks ice creams at the interval.
