We played in June. This past harsh winter negatively affected the greens of other courses, but at Beaver Meadow the course was in terrific shape. Prices were fair, staff friendly, and the food and service in the clubhouse was great.
Just booked the function room at BMGC for our upcoming Holiday Party in Dec. We used this venue last year and had an excellent experience. Everyone raved about the good food and friendly staff. The grilled steak tips and baked stuffed chicken breast were delicious as well as the tossed salad, potato, veggie and dessert. Plenty of room for tables and chairs with space left over for dancing. Room and restrooms were clean. Plenty of free parking. After using several other places in the Manchester area, none compare to Beaver Meadow.
Nice tract for not a lot of money. Cart paths are few and far between but the grass and greens have always been nice when I've played there.
The 2013 Summer season sees this course in spectacular condition. Greens are putting true and the grass has had exceptional growth and greens keeping. The views from the patio across the newly developed pond and rough area is spectacular. Kudos to the crew.
I booked a 18th birthdy party for my son at Beaver Meadow after having gone to a Sweet 16 for a friend of mine daughter. I was very impressed with the food, the atmosphere and the attnetion. From the moment that I arrived at Beaver Meadow the staff were very riendly and welcoming. Helping with whatever they could do to make ther event go as goosd as possible. At one point I was stressed because my photogrpaher had not shown up, one of the employees had offered to allow me to use her cmera phone to take pictures as the event. One of my guests at the party were so impressed that they have since booked a party for later this month. I highly reccomend this facility to others; the staff is great, parking is ample and the facilities were clean.
Struggled this year with conditions Hope it recovers in 2012 Holds a LPGA futures womens tourney which is great to watch the upcoming LPGA stars
This was my first visit to Beaver Meadow. We played the front 9, which was good. The course was generally well maintained (except for the cart paths), and it was fun to play. Afterwards we decided to get some drinks and food at the clubhouse restaurant. This turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. My two friends started out with bloody marys. They consisted of a mix one of the restaurant workings came up with. My friends said it was like drinking salt water and couldn't even drink it. Then came my part. I ordered the nachos with pulled pork, as they had a picture on the menu that looked enticing so I ordered it. When it arrived it hardly lived up to the picture. Better yet, there was a long black hair in it. I immediately told the sever who took it back to the kitchen. One minute later, another lady came out with her and told me that it wasn't actually a 'hair' but part of the pulled pork (as she held up a piece in the air to try to show me that it looked like a piece of hair). Hair from peoples heads look nothing like pulled pork, trust me, I'm not that stupid. So she put it back down in front of me and expected me to eat it. They didn't apologize and still made me pay for it. Not only did I have the hair issue, the nachos had what appeared to be cheese whiz all over it with a few soggy slices of tomato and mushy scallions. It was utterly disgusting and looked nothing like the picture in the menu, which appeared to have real cheese. I usually don't do many reviews, but I felt it would be an injustice to other people not to. If you decide to go to Beaver Meadow Golf Club, skip out on the food; you will be happy you did.
My husband, rather than I, was the one to play golf, here, twice during our trip. He pronounced the greens well enough maintained. What I liked was how exceptionally friendly and good humored the staff in their restaurant/clubhouse are. I so much enjoyed joking around with a 55-ish woman who serves up beers and sandwiches at the counter, with her remembering me across our multiple visits. :)In the women's room, the management had even thoughtfully left out a box of complementary sanitary supplies for any needs along those lines and when I helped myself to one, I discovered a product I really liked, that I had never before tried, and later ordered some for myself on Amazon. What I liked about the golf course (which I walked as my husband played) was how many water stations and porto-potties were available for safety, health and comfort. There is a very pleasant patio one can sit out on to have food and fresh draft beers, too.A friendly, friendly place. I enjoyed it a lot.
We enjoy playing Beaver Meadow. The staff are friendly and get you out as soon as they possibly can. The course has been worked on and I think is playing very nicely. I have played three times this year and enjoyed each round. At the end of the round we enjoyed some beer and hamburgers in the pub which was very nice.
Kudos to the BM Bar and Grille staff. I have attended several events at this location recently and have hosted two parties using this venue..... a high school graduation party and an 80th Birthday party for my mother. One of the reasons that I chose this location was the fact that we could bring in our own food and set the room up to fit our needs. The staff was helpful and pleasant.I plan to use this facility in the near future and can highly recommend it to others.
