I've done their stay and play "Package" each year for the past several years. The quality is consistant...always real good playing conditions, friendly staff, nice practice failities, and a joy to experience. I play golf about 4 to 5 times a week and my trip here each year is always looked forwrd to. Never a dissapointment! This year I lost" my #8 iron and didn't even realize it, I was on the 14 hole when a pro shop attendant drive up and asked if "Mike" was in the foresome. I answered that I was Mike and he handed me my iron. I always put the return mailer labels that the charities send us when we make a donation, and when someone turned in my club at the club house, then looked my name up on the starter sheet and then figured I would be on about hole 12...and drove out and returned it to me....I thought that was really considerate and nice...they are the best in my book!!!
We loved the course, very challenging. We don't golf too often but like to go to nice courses. We will definitely go back some day. The staff was extremely friendly and even loaded your golf clubs for you.
My golf game sucked, but the course is great! What a beautiful facility! Challenging, yet not too hard. Like I said, my handicap is the fact that I can't play golf!
One of the best in the area. It plays long into large and undulating greens. Reasonably priced and well-maintained. It has couple of nice risk/reward holes that add a little spice to your round. Make sure that you pick the proper tees for your game. With a choice of 5 different ones there is no reason to hit from one that doesn't increase your enjoyment of what should be a great day of golf.
I have viewed & played many golf courses. Sevillano Links lands at the top for many reasons. The attention to detail & course upkeep is unmatched. Playing conditions are top notch & greens are immaculate. The Quality & standards they keep there are simply amazing. It is a true joy to play. Challenging, yes, but isn't that the point!Well equipped friendly clubhouse staff. A win win!!
I found it to be outrageously priced. I think W/the area being so small they would do triple the business if they lowered the price significantly.
I recently returned to Golf after a 35 year hiatus and this course is VERY nearby, but I stayed away after hearing how "tough it was" and how expensive. But bottom line using the "senior option packages", and other incentives, it is a Bargain, plus no where in Northern California have I met a more gracious staff. The course is one of the better maintained courses I have played. In years past I lived in the Desert and played those "top rated" courses and Sevillano ranks right at the top.Now I find out about the Play and Stay Specials and have shared with many friends outside the area. They also offer great tournament Packages
I very much enjoyed the golf course at Sevillano Links. It is a John Daly design and is a links style course. The course was nicely maintained and easy in some parts and challenging in others. I would definitely play here again. I got a good stay and play package at the hotel.
Played course on trip home from Palm Springs. It is well worth the stop. The stay and play packages at the casino are a great value. The course is very challenging. Be ready to three putt as the greens are large and undulating. It is a course that will test all your skills.
Links style course that I was told has been shortened (designed by John Daly) and softened since opening. (At that time, the most forward tee on the par 5 18th was 561 yards; now it is 480 or so. All three of my rounds, in which I shot in the low 90s, ended with a triple on that hole-two very tough finishing holes). The design is challenging-lots of balls wind up in the "native grasses" from which you can take a free drop if you find your ball; otherwise it's played as a lateral-but not overly penal. Every green has a British Open style "collection area" around it which permits putting from well off the green. At $59 during the week, it's a steal.
