Did well in VP there. The waitress seem to have an attitude, as I kept going up to the bar to get drinks.
We only hung out here waiting for a gunfight which take place in front of the hotel, but the staff was kind enough to keep up supplied with free tea and coffee to keep us awake while we were waiting. They were very kind and we wish to thank them.
Went to the crab and prime rib buffet- I am a skeptic and was delightfully surprised. Crab legs were wonderful and plentiful and the prime rib was wonderfully rare and TENDER. Great Job!
All you can eat crab and prime rib buffet on Friday and Saturday night otherwise cheaper for buffets breakfast lunch and dinner. We ate at the regular restaurant on the second floor, OK food, we had the buffalo burgers.
Great all-u-can eat crab legs and prime rib buffet Friday & Saturday evening starting at 4:30 pm (mtn). Get in line by 4:15 because there will be a wait. $21.95/person. But try and get the 2nd refill of crab legs, as the 1st one's seem harder to get out of their shell. Maybe because they were ready a little too early. But all-in-all, a good buffet. Breakfast is average (Nothing to write home about).
Even though there are not that many machines it does seem more like a Nevada casino. They do offer free drinks. All casinos in a South Dakota are smoke free except Indian casinos. They did not have a lot of machines but they have a nice variety.
Fun place to dine right below the casino. The buffet had plenty to choose from. The food was fresh. And the cost was nice, too
One of the largest casinos in Deadwood. Great staff; friendly; and fun. Really nice décor with several gaming tables and plenty of slots.
Just went to the weekend dinner buffet. It's first come-first serve, so couldn't make reservations, and had to take a pager and wait about an hour to be seated. Because it's a casino, I went outside with the kids where I'm sure the second-hand smoke took a few years off of our lives. The tables were dirty and all of the seats had burn holes in the cushions. I asked the host if there was anyplace else to go in the hotel with the kids since I wasn't staying there. I got a shoulder shrug and the comment, "It's a casino." Well, no damn duh. Thanks for nothing. A doorman kindly brought us some coloring pages and a few crayons while we suffocated in the smoke out front. The buffet was good, but not the Vegas-style in their ads. They had 3 stations: carved prime rib and pork, some pasta and fried chicken, and salad. The crab legs are about what you would get at the Chinese buffet. Golden Corral and Ryans are comparable at 1/3 the price.
Watched TV commercials and saw numerous billboards calling for Las Vegas style buffet. What a joke to be generous. The prime was tasty and crab was cold but that was about it. They had a small roast beef, cold pizza and chicken and that was it. Very expensive for what was offered.
