Even though I came late, I immediately found some beautiful glassware. There was also delicious homemade items and fresh fruit. I bought some marmalade and seasoning paste that was amazing. Great market! Come early!
Really enjoyed my visit here, good parking good stalls, lovely mittens purchased but very windy and cold. Delightful town to visit.
I love the markets... This one wasn't so great. There were just a few stalls with some produce... Where are the coffees, and nibblies? I guess I'm comparing the Red Hill, Mornington and Margaret River markets and was hoping for something similar.
It was a perfect day for a Sunday market but I was disappointed by the quality of local produce and goods at the Daylesford Sunday Market today. Not what I expected from the Daylesford brand. There were plenty of stalls but most were selling items of mixed to poor quality. The highlight was the Red Beard bread stall - excellent. It is still worth a visit for the spectacle if it's a good day and you may just be lucky and find just what you're looking for!
This was a very eclectic market. We came away barely able to carry the plants and jams and other goodies. Well worth a visit
We went along expecting a great foodie market but were disappointed. It's a bit tired & needs reinventing its self. Same old same old!
We made our way through the market but we were not tempted to look at much. Most stalls seemed rather old fashioned and uninspiring - Honey stall is good.
Love coming here. Always find something to buy that is interesting. Lots to choose from whether old or new and good prices.
The Daylesford Sunday Market at the old railway station has a mixture of everything. Food, jams, hats, socks, antiques, lots of bric a brack, 2nd hand clothing - something for everyone! Well worth a visit if you're in the Daylesford area.
I went there with husband and two kids, the place is big and there are lots of interesting things to see and very very good bargains. They also sell food but it is mainly for clothes, bric-a-brac and furniture. No roof so make sure it doesn't rain.
