We were disapointed with this site, although the river vistas were interesting the terrace itself didn't do much for us - maybe it was just because it was a dull, drizzly day when we visited.
It is a historic architectural symbol in Dresden, the great view on the river Elbe opens from this terrace.
What a great place to see an overview of the river and town! You'll see many people walk up teh stairs fot teh awe inspiring view!
This terraced walkway is a wonderful way to view the Elbe River as it meanders along the Old Town area of Dresden. The view is wonderful and the terrace itself sits along many fine baroque architectural buildings.
This is a wonderful walk with beautiful views of the river and the majesty of buildings along it- as well as lots of trees and flowers in spring, which add to the ambiance.
Bruehl Terrace 座落在 Alstadt historical region 及易北河间,除了沿路上有许多历史建筑外,有个青铜的地标,附近也有不少的好的露天餐厅可以选择,是个值得花个20-30分钟来这边伫足同流的地方。
Love the views across the Elbe River. The Terrace is so closed to the other Dresden attractions - it would be nice to use it as final stop to watch the sunset or a mid-stop to simply enjoy the beauty of Dresden.
Bruhl's Terrace is also known as the balcony of Europe. It is located next to the Elbe river and offers beautiful views. It is a great place to have a leisurely stroll and watch the steamers on the river. It is near the popular landmarks Semperoper, the Furstenzug and if you are visiting those places, you should climb up a few stairs and walk on the historic terrace, which played its role in giving Dresden the nickname Elbflorenz or Florence on the Elbe.I can guarantee that you won't regret doing so.
The views are amazing. Even though it was cold, windy, and rainy, we had a great time, and we will definitely come back in summer when it is sunny.
I walked along the Bruehl's Terrace on a sunny morning. It was lovely as there were few people there. From the Terrace you get a good view on the Elbe river and Neustadt on the other side of the water. On the Altstadt side you walk past the Albertinum and you can even see the Frauenkirche peak out above other buildings.
