I won't go into a lot of detail. Just let it stand that it is a lot better mostly than trying to cram into small movie places. For what you pay you do get a much better experience. I have found that our most recent trip was a bit of a fiasco including my credit card being away with the server for 20 minutes or more which alarmed me. I reported this matter to both the local management and corporate and was never so much as given the courtesy of a reply which quite frankly will mean they will most likely never get my business again. Decent meals, decent locale, decent venue. Just poorly run, I suppose.
I took my 10 yr old son here to see The Hobbit. The place is nice, there is a bar area for adults and the theaters have nice seating with good screen and sound. Tickets are cheap too. However, I felt that the place could be better run. The sound was really loud at times - so loud it hurt. I asked wait staff if they could turn it down and they said No. We ordered food and drinks and they forgot our drinks. So, all in all - nice place itself. But, wait staff could have been more engaged and place better managed. There weren't many people there when we went. Hope it stays around - if they ramped up the customer service, I bet it would do a lot better.
My husband and I love this place! We usually go before 12noon, as the prices are much cheaper at that time, and when you want to watch a movie on a big screen but still have the comfort of home with snacks and drinks, this is definitely the place to go. About a year ago, we had an issue with the food quality, so contacted the manager, and he dealt with it right away... impressive customer service!Make this your go to movie spot!
Got the California grilled chicken sandwich with seasoned fries. Was very tasty and filling. Got a milkshake as well that was great. Service was great as well! Would recommend to everyone
Nice place... good food, good movies.. a good parking.. all you need to enjoy the movie. Seats are comfortable. I recommended it. A big waiting area if you want to wait until the movie start.
Wifey and I don't see a lot of movies out -- a nice TV and home theater makes us more likely to watch at home. Some movies, however, are just better on the big screen and this is where we go to see them.First, the seats are fantastic. Big and comfy -- these are great movie-watching seats.Second, we like having dinner there. It's American bar food -- burgers and chicken tenders type of food. It's pretty good and the wait staff does a good job of taking your order and getting things to you. We've been there many times and I don't think we've ever had a delay in our meal.Third, we like ordering the tickets online and getting reserve seats. Popular movies are so much easier when you're not scrambling for a seat. The extra $1.50/ticket has been worth it.My one complaint is the parking lot. This shopping mall used to be a couple of retail stores with the level of traffic a Circuit City and a furniture store had.. The ONE exit lane wasn't designed to handle a rush of cars, so getting out after a movie is an exercise in patience.
I love the comfort and convenience. The price of the food was a little high and it was difficult to see how much the bill was in the dark. I just handle that by eating before I go.
Studio Movie Grill is a great place to visit. When you purchase your ticket, you select your reserved seating from a computer screen. When you get to your seats, the ushers give you a menu and return to take your order for refreshments or even a meal. The seats are very roomy, the tray table does not get in your way and the theaters are comforatable. It is a nice alternative to a traditional theater.
I have had good food and bad food at the Studio Movie Grill. The biggest problem is getting the food fresh and in the order that you ordered it. They sometimes forget to bring out additional items asked for.
I had a great experience with my two grands...we rode by and it was crowded. So we went today and the kids really enjoyed the movies and the food. They had the kids pizza and two drinks. I had a burger with sweet potato fries, the food was delicious. My problem was the cost of the kids food..it was just too expensive for me...i had ordered a margarita, i thought it was only $5 ...when i got the ticket it said $10...i called the waitress,, she said im sorry..but on the menu it said $ 5 off a pitcher of margarita. What, No honey I'm calling back tomorrow to speak to someone about it....everybody cant afford to be robbed....other than that it was enjoyable....and yes i do know its a movie theater..,everything is high....but at least give kids a break!!
