Didn't do the waterpark. Loved the arcade. Wife won a IPAD Mini and son won nice set of headphones. Go Karts were great as well as the laser tag. All go karts were brand new. Arcade was better than the ones down on the boardwalk.
Great waterpark. Has many waterslides and a great wave pool. Have a relaxing time just floating along in the lazy river.
When you have a beach at your doorstep, why would you oh to a waterpark? Why go to wave pool when you have actual waves for free on the beach? Well - because your kiddo wants to go. This waterpark is ok - nothing truly special. So be sure not to pay full price. If you go after 2 pm, you get a sizeable discount - be sure to take advantage of it. Because you will need the money to pay for a locker and spend on food and drinks, and the other attractions your kiddo may beg to do - go karts, putt putt golf, and the arcade.
We took our 6 children here as a surprise to celebrate the end of summer. We arrived pretty much first thing in the morning and waited on a small line to pay for tickets. There were plenty of chairs/loungers available when we arrived. We had a coupon from our school district, so it was affordable. The kid's ages ranged from 15 to 2 and our entire family had a great time. Our older three enjoyed all the big water slides, while the younger three enjoyed the lazy river and the kiddie area. My husband and I took our youngest two (ages 5 and 2) on their first water slide! They loved it!There were plenty of lifeguards around just in case something happened and most of them were pretty friendly. Unfortunately, a summer storm rolled in and we were asked to leave the pool area. This is perfectly understandable, as I was raised in Florida and worked at a waterpark myself years ago. I understand that the safety of my family and myself is of the utmost importance. I feel that the lifeguards were more than professional about ensuring everyone was out of the pool and slide areas, without being rude (major plus for me). We went across the street to have lunch to see if the weather would let up. However, we did not go back because the weather really did not get much better. For a small waterpark, I feel our kids had a great time. My husband and I had fun as well. Although water parks really are more fun when you don't have children, we enjoyed watching our younger kids exploring. The have lockers available, which are fairly decent sized (we were able to fit clothes for 6 people in there along with a diaper bag and a few pairs of sandals. There is a fee, however, I do not remember as my husband took care of that while I was getting the little ones dressed and sunscreened. All in all, had the weather turned out nicer, we would have spent the entire day here. It was relaxing and peaceful. A HUGE plus was that it was not overcrowded like most other water parks that I have been to. We did go during the week on a Thursday, so I am unsure as to what it is like on the weekends.
Good for an afternoon outing, small water park with a mixed sampling or rides/slides and a lazy river. Inside is an arcade and there's go carts too. It's an easy way to cool off and have some fun in Daytona.
This is the second time we've visited Daytona Lagoon and we had a great time. It's a nice size waterpark that's great for kids. It has a lot of lounge chairs so you can rest while still being able to keep on eye on your kids. There are lockers for rent as well as well kept bathroom with showers and changing areas. The arcade is a lot of fun. There's also food for purchase as well as a bar that serves great drinks at decent prices. We've never done the go-karts or the mini golf there so I can't say how good it is or not. Overall, I would recommend a visit.
We drove from Siesta Key to Daytona Beach so husband could view the Atlantic it was a very nice day and beach was not bust but traffic to get there was anightmare due to Biketober Fest going on next time woul;d check to see what activities going on before visting But ocean view was worth the drive and look on husband face was priceless when he seen the ocean for the first time
We spent an entire Day here and was never bored or discouraged , It was So Much fun ! This was Very Clean and well taken Care of . They should lower the price of the food or allow People to bring food in , Otherwise Great Fun .
I was at Daytona Lagoon with my toddler granddaughter so I only really stayed at the play area for her and the Lazy River but we had a great time. The play area for small kids was quite large with lots of different activities for them. There were a lot of lifeguards keeping an eye on everything. The place had a lot of people but was definitely overcrowed. Coming in there was a large gameroom and they had several concession areas - even a bar!!
This is a nice little water park for kids of all ages, but 13 and under will like it most. There are enough rides to make it fun but not so big to make parents overwhelmed. The kiddie area is young kid friendly (under 3) and is still great for older kids. Staff is usually very friendly and the food is very reasonably priced. Look for Groupons, coupons, or deals when traveling as there is almost always deals to avoid paying posted price.
