Good place to take your family for great weekend evening of fun. New digital projector great picture quality and always two new movies. The greatest homemade french-fries and frozen custard.
I love this place. great value, family friendly, and inexpensive. A safe place to take your family. Go before it closes... not many left these days. Drive In on radio
Relive the old days at this classic auction/drive in theatre! Staff is always knowledgable and helpful! Here are some tips: as of 2014 admission is $8 per adult for the double feature, bring CASH as credit is not accepted on the premises, bring a stereo with fresh batteries, blankets, chairs, something to kill time before the movies start, and pillows if you have a truck or SUV to sit in the bed comfortably! My family and I look forward to Haar's every year, and my boyfriend and I have made a habit of Friday date nights here :)
I look forward to Haar's every summer. There's nothing like sitting out under the stars and watching a fun movie. Unlike the Bengies in Baltimore, they don't go around kicking people out for bringing their own snacks - although that's not necessary because their snack bar has a great variety of junk food for everyone. The lines at the snack bar and the bathrooms get very crowded between features, so plan ahead. We loved that the front rows were reserved for the small cars, so that the monster trucks don't block our view. Overall, Haar's is a well-managed, inexpensive and friendly drive-in. I am so happy to see this place is still here!
Don't listen to their no alcohol "rule" because we did and were left with our thumbs up our butts. You also may not leave the premises and return with out paying for another ticket. I looked at the screen and thought I forgot my 3d glasses. The staff was really nice, though. It would've been better if I had been more of a rebel, It just seemed like these rules were really enforced.
Its a great place to bring the family.. clean playground... nice staff... good fast food.. great for the dollar Only one thing... leave early to use the rest room, the lines can be long... especially to the ladies room
easy to get to, great with grandkids to enjoy something we did as kids, sound was good, all parking spots are great, a visit to the snack bar with the kids was great, they allow you to bring chairs if you want to sit outside the car.
Great place to spend a weekend evening. Shows first run, family worthy movies. Lots of variety of snacks in the snack bar. Family run.
There aren't many of these Drive Inns left in the Us. Go! Take your family to see a movie. Just like the good ol days!
If you're looking for a classic drive-in, Haar's is it. The snack bar food is delicious, especially the fries and shakes. Hustle if you're getting some at intermission; the line can be daunting.
