This is a breathtaking temple near Fudam village in Diu. The temple is carved out on the edge of the sea. There are 5 shivalingas which are believed to be built by the Pandavas. The view of sea-waves washing the lingas is awesome. Its a must visit place when in Diu.
There are 5 Shivalingas which are believed to be made by the pandavas. The waves spraying through the temple is a unique thing. The view of the sea is good and one can go for a walk along the cliffs beyond the temple.
It is a great opportunity to worship standing in sea water gushing in and out in a well protected and safe place.
This is a very good temple. Location is very good. 5 shiv lings are made for pandavas. We visited at the time of high tide and sea water was coming inside the temple and touching the lings. It was very nice experience. One must visit this place.
Worth a visit.. especially the drive from Chakratirth Beach to Gangeshwar temple is fantastic... There is no menace of Pandit and Pujari atleast till now and no commercialisation..
A lovely visit to this temple, quiet, serene and able to reflect on your thoughts. Go to the side and there are benches on the cliff where you can see and view the sea before you....
A small, lovely Temple with the Lingas naturally being washed by sea waves during high tide. Not to be missed.
The temple is not relly a temple - it's a cave carved out of a big rock along with five shivalingams on the floor of the cave. And it's beautiful. Must see.
A sea side rock structure with small cave, resembling Shiva temple. Most Diu visitors will come here
Gangeshwar temple is a unique temple as five shivalings are placed strategically so that the sea water touches all the five shivalings. Its a divine experience, one of a quite that guarantees pure bliss. It is very well-maintained and a must see for all Diu visitors.
