I have spent many a day on the water with guides all over fishing for all things and my time last month with Garrett was some of the best yet. Solid knowledge of not only the rivers we fished, but all things to do with water, bugs, flow, rafts and gear. If you're looking for a big ego and fishing tales, Garrett is not your guide. But whatever your level of angling is, you will have an educational, fun and prosperous day of fishing when you head out with Hooked Outfitters. Can't wait to go back next summer. Dave, Boulder Co.

I have fished with Hooked Outfitting & Capt. Garrett every spring for the last 5 years, and every time I have a great experience. The guides are patient, thorough and effective teachers for those (like me) who still have a lot to learn. They are knowledgeable about where and what the fish are biting and put us on them! The shore lunches are always outstanding, and the guides provide great company. I'll continue to use Hooked Outfitting for many years to come and I highly recommend them!

Just back from a two day fishing trip on the Madison River with Hooked Outfitting. The guides are fantastic and really know the intricacies of the river. We were six women and to be honest, some fishing guides in Montana might not be so happy about guiding a bunch of women fly fishers. These guides treated us like the experienced fly fishers we are. They work hard for you, but also enjoy themselves. Lots of fishing and laughing! I highly recommend using Hooked Outfitting. Also, let me put in a word for Garrett's business and otherwise partner Melissa Harrison, of Seasonal Montana, who is an incredibly talented chef and will not only help you find a great place to stay but, if you want, provide dinners that rival any top restaurant around. An all around fantastic time!
