Trip Advisor is a valuable tool for consumers and travelers to post opinions and review experiences as well as for potential customers to benefit from this sharing of information. It can also be used improperly. This review leaves out much detail and information. At the time of booking this reviewer was made completely aware of the booking and cancellation policy. When the call was received regarding cancellation the reviewer acknowledged having been made aware but simply did not wish to be held accountable to her commitment. Our Spa Director was involved at this time and explained that the fee is paid to the service provider that is called in to perform the treatment (in effect, this service provider is a small business operator and commits his or her time to the appointment). Imagine the situation if we had not held our end of the commitment and did not schedule a service provider as agreed. When the reviewer spoke to our General Manager, at the time, she was again made aware of these details and again refused to pay as well as adding that if we did not comply a negative review would be posted. The GM explained that this was not really the purpose of the forum and how unfortunate it is for her to try and hurt or business and reputation in this manner. Naz Jenulevich General Manager
