The carriage ride around town was a nice way to wrap up our visit to Frankenmuth. The price was a little high for such a short trip but this is a tourist town.
The girl the gave us the carriage ride was very informative about the history of Frankenmuth and my grandaughter just loved the big horse!
We enjoyed the carriage ride through the town but found that despite the website indicating the cost per 60 minutes, we paid for 60 minutes but only received 40 minutes. That was disappointing. Was fun to do for the experience - will not spend the money to do again.
The nicest people run this. We even enjoy having to stand in line standing in line because then we get to sing along with the Christmas music that plays in the background.
These poor horses actually know when it's quitting time they start getting irritated and restless. They are very overwhelmed now who wants to beg to differ with me. I've witnessed this with my own eyes and even saw their own caretakers talking about it
We did not ride because the rates were outrageous. The town isn't that big that it would have been worth spending that sort of money for a carriage ride.
ahh, those horses. they were all beautiful. what a way to get around town, the best! old world transportation for an old world destination.
our two grandchildren thought they were princesses when we took them for a carriage ride this past August. They loved the horse and loved going through the town as much as we adults did
Four different Carriages to choose from. I recommend taking the carriage to fulfill the holiday experience at Frankenmuth. The company even brings fresh horses to make sure it goes through the late evening.
This is such a beautiful experience that two can share. The horses trotting along while you look at the amazing little town. It has so much to offer and we love going their many times of the year.
