We have a 3 and a 6 yo, which loved everything the park had to offer. We, as adults, enjoyed the lazy river and the the slides too! ...and the fact that it wasn't too crowded, so the wait for the slides was not bad at all!
Our 2.5 year old LOVED this place, we just did the water park and got there RIGHT as it opens, only way to do it, if you want shaded seats and to be comfortable, and very clean good time!!
Our second water park experience as a family this summer, this one takes the cake. We had an excellent time, and we highly recommend this attraction.Although the footprint of the water park is surprisingly small (maybe a large city block) it had loads to offer our family (and was PERFECTLY sized for our children, 6 and 9).The lazy river provided intermittent relaxation, and the tall slide (with tubes or not) provided fun for all. No long lines, we had loads of rides during our stay. The facility is clean and well-run, with surprisingly attentive lifeguards and staff. The lifeguards even enforced the rules, a surprisingly uncommon trend these days (where rules, it seems, apply to nobody). Even at the height of a busy day, there were still a few chairs to be found. The $2 fresh snow cones were a great end-of-the-day treat. We opted for the 4 hour wristband, with the up-charge proving well worth the additional price (we stayed a solid 3 hr and 45 min, never bored).
Nice spread out 18 hole mini golf. Cute theme of Vikings, dragons and trolls. Went on an overcast day so it was crowded but there was plenty of room for each group to wait for the next hole. It was around $8 for unlimited play until 5pm. Also offers go carts and a small water park onsite. Hershey's ice cream, funnel cake, popcorn, boardwalk style fries and deli shops all on the mini boardwalk. Plenty of free parking around the back!
The waterslide and pool area are great or families..especially for the 11 and under set. Nice break from a beach day.
Yes, it's not huge or fancy but my 4 grand kids just had a blast doing the 2 hour ticket here. Their ages are 4, 8, 9 & 10. Tell you the truth, I had a good time with them. We could bring in food or water and the lifeguards were pretty cool. It's mid-June, we went around noon and really there wasn't a big crowd. If you have kids under 12, I think they'll enjoy this place.
I could rate all 0's I would. First a child pooped in the kiddie pool and they scooped it out and did not properly clean andSanitize the area. Secondly the food should only be fed to animals. The steak sandwich could not have even been steak and the "grilled chicken" was just a unneeded patty if chicken that was probably not even chicken. We watched the cook drop pizza on the floor and then still serve it. It advertises that it 6 slides and that includes the mini ones for little kids. All looked run down. For a better value and experience go to frontier town in Ocean City. It is larger, food is good, drunks are even better and cheaper. I never do reviews on places but this place was so bad!!!
I would lower the age that would enjoy this water park to 8. My husband and I took our nephew and niece who are 3 and 6 and for 90 minutes they had a blast; but after that amount of time they were ready to go. There are only about five slides, and only one is very "scary." The water was a great temperature though, and even though I don't really enjoy water parks, we had a great time with the little ones.
Every year we hit the mini golf and love the theme. Its now a family tradition to stop. They have an ice cream shop there as well. Very enjoyable.
Visited several times in past years with the grands. Perfect size for smaller children. Activities well maintained, managed, and guarded. Plenty of space to sit. Friendly staff. New slide in 2014 got rave reviews from older kids and adults. Definitely a must visit as a change from beach time.
