This place is worth a try even if you're not a serious marksman. The staff is extremely helpful and they have a wonderful private restaurant for members.
I have been a member at The Frisco Gun Club for a year. When it first opened, there was a very attentive and helpful woman that made sure we were taken care from start to finish (This is what I call premium service)....A year later (today), my dad and I went to shoot in the rifle range. I called at 10am to reserve a bay-only to be put on hold multiple times. I figured they were super busy, but if this is suppose to be the Nation's Most Luxurious indoor shooting range (as they boast), someone should be able to answer or take care of incoming calls. They have had plenty of time to workout the kinks and know the "busy days" and plan accordingly. Finally, I get to speak with a gentlemen, who does not seem welcoming, to book my bay. I don't think there is enough staff to provide the type of service this club boasts itself to be.As we are waiting, the lack of signage and direction has me frustrated and feeling neglected. Member or not, not an impression that is positive. In fact, I kept getting sent back and forth to the restaurant and didn't know what to do with my rifle-since it can't go into the restaurant. I said, "We are VIP, and I'd like to put my gun in the vault." She said, "You are not a VIP-you are a Platinum member." Then a woman, probably a manager, came charging at me-like-why are you in here. I was insulted and humiliated. As I shared my frustration, with the lack of clarity in the privilege's assigned to the various types of membership-I couldn't wait to get out of her company. I could go on...but it was just poor service all around with the staff. There were no real privilege's with my membership and if you weren't a member-(based on the service) no enticement to become one.The "manager", gave us a free coffee-but that pales in comparison to the insulting impression and way she treated me (member or not).I do love the rifle bay, though!
This is a first class facility. You can shoot on a modern air conditioned range. They have both pistol and rifle ranges. They have several different memberships available. They also have a guns selection of gums for sale.
I went to this club with a Member and spent a couple of hours shooting (his guns & ammo) on the indoor rifle range and then the pistol range. The staff were amazing (Dan on the front desk was SUPER helpful and friendly - Thanks Dan) and the facilities just rocked... We did not use the restaurant but I hear it is first class and the selection of equipment they have in their store was mind blowing! It was pretty busy for a Wednesday night and everyone seemed to be having a great time and getting expert and safe assistance.I was a natural 'great shot' (see photo of my target from the pistol range 10 rounds shot from 7m using a Glock .40 Calibre handgun - 9 hits to the bulls eye!!). Hope to shoot here again very soon.
Nice clean facility with helpful staff. Fair priced range fees and ammo. Guns were pretty inline with market prices.
Very clean, could be faster checking you in, but great facility. Really a nice place and friendly staff.
Came here for a Smith and Wesson demo. Was my first time. Impressed with facility size and nice ranges. Fajitas buffet very good.
If you want a platinum experience for your target practice then this place is for you. Lots of employees to make sure you get good service. Coffee and food on site. Members lounge looks like an old boys club. Guns for sale are a cut above what you will find at your local shooting range. Lots of classes available.
A welcome addition to Frisco! I have the pleasure of being a VIP with the Frisco Gun Club and with this am able to take many of my clients there for a tour and lunch or dinner. The Chef always comes to greet us and explain the added menu items not on the menu and his suggestions, presentation and food are always outstanding! Brenda always does an excellent job at making sure everyone is happy with their meal and drinks. So glad this place is here. Another great addition to Frisco!
The club is clean, well-run, safe, and has amenities to suit all levels of gun enthusiasts. My step-son had a small issue with his .380. Range personnel were very helpful, and the gunsmith made a minor adjustment that they didn't charge for, even though we would have willingly paid for the service. Weekday half price range rentals are nice, too.
