Delicious apple juice and baking but everything is over priced and it seems that their focus is more about money than people.
This is a great place for the whole family to enjoy. Modest fee for fun and educational tours of the orchards. Very supportive of the arts - loaned us pumpkins and gourds to decorate our fall show as well as donating a box of apples! Store has great produce, decor and gift items. Friendly staff, handy indoor cafe with some outside tables for lunch and yummy sweets. Sun and shade, so you can be comfortable to sit and enjoy the scenery indoors or out. I miss them when they close in the winter.
As a local, I used to frequent the orchard with my children but I no longer go do to the high increased prices.
I really enjoy spending time at Davidsons Orchard in the spring, summer and fall. Always something interesting to look at, great value on fresh produce, and lots of activities for the kids! And the best apple juice and pie anywhere!!!
A great place to entertain kids under 10 years of age. Very nice deli style restaurant for lunch.Well priced.
This used to be a place that genuinely cared about people., when bob ran it. Now Tom has taken it over, and it is all about the profit, They sell rotten produce to charities at a "discount", charge full price for the hayride for a baby in a snuggli in its mothers chest, and have very much gotten away from the "farm produce" market and into commercial products.
I love this place. It's cute and quaint and has a variety of stuff and they even make their own apple cider from 3 different apples in the Okanagan and a little feeding farm out back.
I used to go there for good produce at reasonable prices, but over the years they turned the farm into a tourist trap- those with money. I can't imagine what a family with kids would have to spend there!
Davidson Orchard has always been a place where one could get the best and freshest pies, the best ice cream, organic juices galore, home baked cookies, fresh honey and more. Not to forget the lovely flowers one might buy. The place is always wonderfully decorated depending on the time of the year..... never miss their pumpkin displays... it's one to inspire you to eat, cook and have a great Thanksgiving. Since Davidson Orchard added a charming petting zoo there is no holding back the little ones; as soon as you mention Davidson Orchard there is the request for ice cream, animals and not to forget the beautiful play ground. Our little grand daughter waits anxiously for her visit to Vernon and for her Opa to take her there. She loves to race him on the water pump to find out who's little plastic duckie (that you can purchase right there on the play ground) will float faster.... it's an absolute hoot. And if you crave a rest in the shade a lovely decorated open barn area invites you to sit, eat the fresh fruit you might just have purchased and let your kids play with the lovely toys available. This is a Vernon attraction that nobody should miss out on. It will charm not only the kids but the adults as well.
