I went there with my friends and we had a nice time walking around the park. It has a variety of Japanese plants and some waterfalls going through it.
The botanical garden in Gothenburg is a wonderful place, perfect if you'd like to go for a stroll in beautiful surroundings or have a nice picnic outdoors. The main focus here is the botanical interest, just as it should be, but I sometimes wish that the restaurant/cafe would show a little more variety of different dishes.. It's so beautifully situated and could easily be a nice outing in itself. Don't miss the cute shop next to the entrance - it's also worth a visit.
I met a few friends here for a picnic. The kids played on the toys and we relaxed and took in the day. Good for exploring.
Nice place to walk on a cold November day. The greenhouses were open and the plants were healthy & abundant.
The botanical garden is a really good place to visit to just have a calm walk and a good cup of coffee or chocolate in a wonderful environment. The latest years has it also been popular for families with children to straw around for a wile in this beautiful garden with many trees and bushes you can't find anywhere else in sweden due to the extinguish of these spiceys around sweden.. The garden is well maintained a a small cafe is ready to serve you with light lunch or just a soda or a cup of tea.. well visited by by tourists as well as swedish people..
Full of flower in summer and they alway change garden theme depend on season. There are variety of plant species include tropical room that have beautiful orchid. There have restaurant in the middle of garden that is so nice. Moreover, a little souvenir shop that you can buy some gift or plant seed to grow at your home.
What is there not to like?! It's a fantastic Place with so much to see and experience. All the fantastic flowers, gardens, Environments and the possibility just to hang around for a picnic or just read a book.... It's all up to you
Gothenburg Botanical Garden is one of the world's premier BGs. If you have an mind for gardening and or botany, it's a must-see. From the tram it's a 10 minute walk to the entry, from the entry and around the gardens it's timeless and endless. There are all sorts of different garden themes. There's a very decent restaurant. Can't say enough about it except perhaps that I wish I could have spent more time there and been able to visit at least once a month. We were there in June 2014
The park had a very big greenhouse with many many tropical plants, also exhibition of Japanese floriculture. You can also pick a guidebook in it. There were a lot of small pools. Trees and stones were covered in snow, the world was quite and pure, I was thinking of Zen =). Some places were not stepped, it was exciting to walk on the snow listening to the sound=). Some people were running here, actually I was curious how they kept the balance on this slippery ground. Nice place to bring kids here.
Lot of nice and exotic flowers. Nice Park. Quite. For all ages. Good publid connections.Cafe with a garden.
