I promise you will not be disappointed, this is a park that has something for everyone and many of the rides are really good. Beware, if you are there in a popular day there will be a lot of long cues and that can destroy your day. Liseberg is by far the best amusement park in Scandinavia.
This amusement park has a wonderful atmosphere with attractions for everyone and very good restaurants. You can easily spend a weekend in the park. Very special is to experience Liseberg in the dark period around Christmas when millions of small lamps illuminate and sculpture the trees in the park and you can meet reindeers! If you are a child you can even try "downhill" skiing in a very safe way. Amazing!
Liseberg has something for all of us. It is a lovely park with beautiful flowers and decorations. It has a scene 'Stora Scenen' where local and international musicians have live shows (included in entrance ticket). A lot of fun rides and roller coasters, suitable for kids of age 0-99 years old. Don't miss the spectacular house of horror 'Hotel Gasten', not for the faint-hearted though.Tip: the website have lots of information that can help you make the most of your visit (Swedish/English)
We are a family of five from the age of 8 to 43, and we all love it. There are something to do for everyone. For those who doesent love rollercoasters, you can always try the wheel of fortune and win 2 kg of chocolate. Very fun! And for my little boy who doesent like speed, there are several carusells that fits him.
This park have it all, just bring a lot of hours to spend... I'm especially fond of the park during winter time when they have all the lights on and all the theme arrangements all around the park.
An excellent theme park especially for teenagers. Plenty to do, not just roller coasters, although they are great!
There are certainly much larger and more amazing amusement parks in other parts of Europe but Liseberg is Göteborgs and a visit to this amusement park is a visit to a piece of this original coastal city. A lot of rides both for the more experienced and the young ones to experience and a lot of local distributors put their products up for sale and display. And if you need to ask a question, just find one of the green rabbit "Lisebergskaninen :)" whom are synonymous to this park. If you get hungry during your stay, there are plenty of opportunities to have a bit of snack to a fair price or if you prefer a regular meal there are lovely restaurants with full rights to serve stronger beverages. In the evening there's usually an artist of some sort that perform on stage. Overall I'd say though to it's rather small area the revue would be "great park"! By all mean, visit Liseberg during your stay in our beautiful City! Welcome!
If you're in Gothenburg, summer or winter, a visit to Liseberg is great! It has something for everyone and tries to change something each season. In summer its the best place for families or groups of frineds/couples to have a FULL day of fun! Trust me, you do not need to leave the park during the day unless you have other plans. You can find everything you need in the park! In the winter time this land of fun turns in to a magical winter land divided into different sections to make sure you get a fantastic experience!
We went as a family to the christmas market in Liseberg and this is a great place to visit! The entire park is beautifully decorated in lights that has to be enjoyed in the evening. I was quite surprised when we saw how crowded it was, In some areas, it was impossible to move around. Bringing a stroller in here will be a big mistake during christmas. The park offered a lot of stand with great selection of things to browse and buy for yourself or as gifts,
