The Kelvingrove Park is quite large and well laid out. There are good paths and the river Kelvin runs through the park. Plenty of space for children to run and play and for walkers to enjoy the area. There are a variety of water birds and small animals. The park contains a variety of trees, plants and shrubs as well as monuments and memorials. A great place to be on a hot summer day as I found when visiting the park. The Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery are situated within the park as well as some sporting facilities. Food outlets are nearby.
great space, walk the dogs, kids play area, clean and well kept, surrounding areas are great for bars or coffee shops, beautiful scenery!
It is one of the most visited parks. Once you go as well, you can understand why... Grand, beautiful and well-maintained...
Absolutely gorgeous park its quite a big a long walk but its worth it, its very relaxing. Theres loads of space for kids or dogs etc to run about about. This is on a main road so there is loads of buses etc that run past it all the time.

Nice place for family picnic with lush green landscape. Nice play area for kids and fantastic place for a day. Good place during summers and spring for sun bathing and range of flowers to admire.
This is a lovely park. I used to walk through it nearly everyday to get to the university. On nice days, it was great for a stroll. The open areas are packed on sunny days in the summer. Worth a visit if you're already at the Kelvingrove Museum or the University of Glasgow.
Handy for public transport, if necessary. Skate park and play park excellent, Nice area for walking too.
