We just held our wedding at Hedsor House this month and words cannot describe how beautiful it looked on the day. The staff were so supportive and professional and Caper and Berry who did the event management and catering were first class. We have received so many compliments and are both so pleased we chose Hedsor. It really was a dream wedding and I cannot recommend the team at Hedsor highly enough.
A real gem..attended a wedding here. Staff were welcoming and attentive. Loads of smiles..what a fabulous setting for a wedding. Certainly a day to remember for everyone.
Idyllic venue for a wedding! Built in 1868, set in 100 acres of parkland and steeped in history it remains private hands. The house is immaculately kept and oozes grandeur. Raison d' etre now is private & corporate events, period dramas and filming. Contains a wealth of rooms that are perfect for any function ..provided you have a deep wallet! That said, attention is paid to every detail, catering staff used on our visit (as wedding guests) were well trained, discreet and efficient ..everything went like clockwork, faultless in my view. Gardens and grounds are a treasure. Be aware that the entrance road up to the house is narrow and there are restrictions to overnight parking. There is no accommodation.
Fantastic venue for a wedding reception. Excellent food and exceptional service. Would highly recommend it.
My daughter was married at Hedsor in August. The weather was fine and the venue stunning. Thanks to all who helped make this such a special day
Beautiful venue with stunning gardens. The dining room was lovely with big windows and beautiful panelling. The wedding went without a hitch, the food was well presented and served. Staff were pleasant and helpful and the facilities were excellent. One criticism is the lack of Ladies toilets, only 2 for a large wedding party is not really enough. It was also a shame that you could not stay there and as you had to collect your car from the car park by 8am next day it did make arrangements for transport quite complicated. It was a lovely day though I think everyone really enjoyed it.
The house and gardens are beautiful - stunning. I used to work for the company that previously owned Hedsor and we used it as a staff conference centre - everyone loved it but we already owned an even more impressive stately property so Hedsor was sold. It was grand then and even more impressive now. Perfect for a Wedding - very professional staff - good menu options - good function room choice. It wasn't suitable for the event I wanted as I needed a Ballroom and accommodation but I would absolutely use Hedsor in the future.
It's a stunning location, no question. We went there for an open weekend. Grounds lovely, house itself disappointing but that's a personal opinion. Too much emphasis on one or two recent film locations there but I totally understand why!
I visited this house as part of a group of travel professionals on a 'fam evening' in July while attending The Meetings Show. After a long day that started at 4am, followed by 15 or so meetings at the show and a lot of travel and walking, I didn't feel like going, but wow was I glad I did. The location is spectacular, the driveway up is devine. The house is as grand and oppulent as you will find - it is simply stunning ! We were very lucky to arrive with glorious sunshine, so were treated to our dinner on the lawn. The beauty around us could not have been painted as beautiful. The staff were superb, the food was delicious and Hedsor House is spectacular. I cannot fault. Ideal for a private event, group dinner, conference, or even a visit privately.
What a lovely experience. Les Mis was fab, and we had a great picnic in the grounds before hand.I got so cold at around midnight I had to leave though.Should have brought more layers!
